I have been a patient of Dr. Mankowitz for about 2 years. I had been concerned about the care I was receiving from my PCP. Even though I trust my PCP, she is not specialized in heart problems. When my son urged me to seek a cardiologist, I went to RNs NPs and anesthesiologists who I know to be ethical and good at their jobs. I chose Dr. Mankowitz due to having narrowed my choices to two physicians. Dr. Mankowitz's location is closer to my home and St. Lukes Hospital is affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic!!, #1 Heart Hospital in the country. After seeing Dr. Mankowitz over the last 2 years, I received my accurate information than I had anticipated. He is a wealth of information in various areas, which also effect heart functioning. He gave me very practical information as how to handle my A-Fib. if it appears again, and his manner in the office is one of confidence and being with and available to my needs 24/7. Good luck to others looking for a TOP Doc. I do not think you… would be anything but very pleased if you consulted with Dr. Mankowitz.

In all these years I thought it's high time to speak my truth about my years with Dr. Mankowitz: I have been with Dr. Mankowitz since 2000, I was 47, I am 65 now. Lacking 2 years due to a move, I returned and drive 150 miles one way for his service of being the best Cardiologist I've ever went to or worked with in my career as a RN. Dr. Mankowitz has the best bed side manor only others could only hope for. Dr. Mankowitz has reinvented the art of compassion, patients, empathy and listening. His knowledge , physiology, anatomy and treatment of the heart Cleveland clinic heart specialist would die for. There is so much more I could add but I want to thank you Dr. Mankowitz so much for giving me that, "You care" one to one patient relationship experience for 16 year, to be able rve. Thank you very much for being my Cardiologist!

Dr. Mankowitz clearly explains what is wrong with my heart, making sure I understand. His staff has provided timely answers when I have called on the phone with questions. I found Dr. M to be quite personable. Sometimes he is in a big hurry and I may feel a bit rushed, but he still makes sure I understand what's going on.
