Very disappointed with Collin County ENT, I had a balloon septoplasty performed by Dr. Keith Matheny, he said that the procedure was going to fix my deviated septum condition and that I was going to feel the improvement in breathing, he even said this procedure was going to help with my sleep apnea condition, after two months, I still cannot breath well and the septum is not straight as expected, I went back for follow up and he said I needed another procedure to shrink the turbinates, on top of that I was being charged for the follow up visit, at this point I decided to look for second opinions with two ENT doctors where both of them agreed and told me from the beginning that balloon septoplasty wasn’t an option for me, they confirmed my septum was still deviated and turbinate shrinking by itself wasn’t going to improve my breathing problems. Long story short, my septum is still deviated after balloon septoplasty, breathing is still a major issue after surgery and I have gotten no… real solution from the physician or anyone from Collin County ENT. The quality of service I got from the Physician (Keith Matheny), PA, billing department and Collin County ENT office was terrible, extremely disappointing. I hope this review helps other patients like me to make a well-informed decision and to get different opinions before choosing this provider for their healthcare needs.

I've suffered with allergies all my life. This past year was the worst! I lost my smell and taste. I couldn't breathe very well through my nose. Dr. Matheny was very attentive to my needs as a patient. He performed sinus surgery and I am now able to smell and taste again and can breathe freely through my nose. Thank you Dr. Matheny!

Fantastic care from all the staff as well as Dr Matheny. He took all the time i needed to have questions answered and concerns addressed… very personable and caring. I would definitely recommend.

Prescribed a course of allergy shots that did not work, spent very little time with me diagnosing the issue. Overall a terrible experience, don't waste you time or deductible.

I had a car wreck 27 years ago, did not know how bad my breathing was until Dr. Matheny cured my deviated septum through surgery. It's as if I was a blind man that saw for the first time, except I could breathe easily for the first time in years. I highly recommend Dr. Matheny 100+% to anyone needing a fabulous ENT.

It's so hard to get to see Dr. Matheny; you have to see the assistant first. The PA (Chad) will be the one to decide what tests you need to get done BEFORE you get to see the doctor. I think Dr. Matheny should be making such important decisions. So for all Dr. Matheny's impressive curriculum, you really end up dealing with his assistant most of the time, not the doctor. I'm switching doctors.
