Dr. Keith Phillip Meslin, MD

Dr. Meslin operated on me for colon cancer. I cannot say enough positive things about him and his staff. From my pre op visits to my post op visits, I was treated incredibly well. He is a talented surgeon.

Dr. Meslin operated on my husband.. It was outpatient surgery until my husband experienced extensive bleeding at home that night. After calling an ambulance, going through the ER and being admitted, we never saw, nor heard from Dr Meslin again. This was even after a rapid response was called at 4:30 am, after my husband blacked out and was foaming at the mouth. Fortunately, Meslin’s partner, Dr Galler was on the schedule the next day. However, my husband was not taken back into surgery until the end of the day after Dr Galler saw all his previously scheduled patients. It was determined my husband was then stable throughout the long wait. He’s on the mend now thanks to Dr Galler having to redo Meslin’s work. I rarely ever post on here but after visiting the office later that week and asking for the office manager to call me to discuss many issues, (which she never did, nor did Meslin), this is my only format to warn others. If you have a complication after surgery don’t expect any… preferential treatment. Know that there’s a risk of your hemoglobin dropping from 14 to a 9, and that you may miss a week and a half of work. And after all that don’t expect one phone call from this office, doctor or nurse. This may be some of the worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed. Be sure to get second opinions on your medical condition and be sure to have an advocate with you at all times.

I was a patient of Dr Meslin several years ago . He did a bowel resection, & repaired some hernia's with double mesh. He was the kindest Dr that I have had operate on me. Unfortunately the next time I needed surgery, my gastroenterologist (who went to school with Dr Meslin) & I couldn't locate Dr Meslin, he had left the Manahawkin area. Needless to say, against Dr's orders, I didn't have the surgery! Well thing's have gotten progressively worse. But, like an act of GOD, I was given the name of 2 surgeons I lost one of them, I was looking through my phone for surg. to see if I would recognize name AND I SEE DR MESLIN. I AM CALLING HIS OFFICE IMMEDIATELY. I finally FOUND DR MESLIN

I waited too long to see a colorectal doctor because I was so embarrassed about my condition. It was uncomfortable and I was afraid to see a doctor. Now I wish I hadn't waited so long! Dr. Meslin performed hemorrhoid surgery and while it is not a comfortable surgery, his bedside manner and caring office staff were truly a comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Meslin. Stop suffering because you are embarrassed or scared! He is kind and compassionate and the exam is no worse than seeing your ob/gyn (in fact, it was faster and less uncomfortable).

Dr Meslin did a colon resection and me and my husband and did a FABULOUS job. No complications, great bed side manner and we both felt very comfortable with him. He treated us like individuals and was very caring. We were never worried.

Based on numerous surgeries performed on my wife he earned our trust and respect.

I was so impressed with dr. Merlin. This was my first time seeing him today and he was amazing. I am so happy a sought a second opinion. He was so patient and understanding. I would recommend him to anyone.

After suffering with bleeding hemorrhoids for three years I finally decided to get help. I happened to ask my OB-GYN one day while I was there for a routine exam for a recommendation to have this done and Dr. Meslin was suggested. My experience was amazing. The first 2-3 days after surgery were uncomfortable although nothing that couldn't be controlled with Tylenol. I have had no bleeding whatsoever and am totally without any discomfort at all. It truly was life changing for me and I only wish I had done it sooner!

I would like to thank DR Meslin and the staff at Vitua for the excellent care I received before, during, and after my gall bladder surgery. I was in pain and they got me in fast for an appointment, surgery that week and back to work within the next week. I'm glad I had Dr. Meslin for my surgery, I'm young and glad for the minimal scaring of my surgery after seeing a friends same surgery scaring left from another surgeon and another hospital, Bad! All I can Say is Thank you DR.Meslin, for a Great Job Done!
