Dr. Munson did surgery on me, I must say he is so far that I feel a great surgeon, however his bedside manners are horrible and disrespectful. Once the surgery is done, Dr. Munson doesn't call or check up on you. He does the least amount of work that he possibly can and then moves on. I would rate is surgery excellent, but his attitude and bedside manners need a lot of work.

After being in the hospital 3 times to get blood transfusions due to bleeding hemorrhoids I was referred to Dr. Munson for surgery. Believe me it was a hard surgery to recover from, but now I am totally healed and I highly praise his knowledge and expertise. He saved me from bleeding to death.

Dr. Munson saved my life. He was to do a 2 hour procedure to remove cancer. He spent 6 hours picking out cancer. He is an excellent Surgeon and does not give up. He is a Navy man and may not be warm and fuzzy at times....but he does care and worry about his patients. If I ever need more surgery I will go to Dr. Munson. He is really the very best!!!

He may have "good hands", i.e., have good technical/surgical skills, but he's not capable of diagnosing postoperative complications. After an excisional hemorrhoidectomy performed by Dr. Munson, I developed Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. He failed to diagnose the condition. I had to see another colo-rectal surgeon to be properly diagnosed.

Staff were pleasantly, wonderful, taking their time & showing concern ... Dr. Munsun on the other hand though I think Dr. knows his material, is very rude & gruff with his bedside manner, like at the snap of his finger wants answers without letting you completely finishing your answer ... SNAP, SNAP, SNAP ... Rush to get to answers! And he doesn't completely inform you before preforming procedures. Doesn't ask or give you any time to ask your questions ... completely rushed! Not the caring type of Dr. that I'm used to.

Dr Munson performed my colostomy reversal surgery and I've been great since. He is going to repair a large incisional hernia for me, and I am very confident in his skills as a surgeon.

Having worked at a regional hospital for 22 years, I was quite impressed with Dr. Munson in operating on my husband in March, 2011. He is open and direct with what he anticipates surgically and attentive in answering questions and concerns. He placed my husband in the PCU unit, the perfect choice for detailed monitoring and superb care during his 4-day stay. We are fortunate to have found Dr. Munson and highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Munson for the past 8 years. I have recommended Dr. Munson to several of my friends, family members, and co-workers and will continue to do so every chance I get. Dr. Munson performed 3 surgeries on me and every two years I have to see him for a colonoscopy and endoscopy and as long as Dr. Munson is practicing medicine, nothing could ever make me go to any other physician. I tryly believe that Dr. Munson saved my life!!!

I am a 38-year old married female w/ one small child. I went to Dr. Munson for, at first, what turned out to be rectal prolapse. (I had complications with my bowels after the birth of my son). Dr. Munson convinced me to get a colonoscopy. He found rectal cancer, almost Stage 4. The man saved my life. He is a genius. His surgical skills are precise. He is very upfront and non-emotional with information but I appreciated that about him. I love you Dr. Munson!
