Dr. Keith Michael Sterling, MD

Dr. Sterling is awesome. Very attentive and knowledgeable. His confidence is appreciated. I have been seeing Dr. Sterling for over a year now, no complaints. Also Colleen is amazing! Hands down she is one of the reasons I return. Her willingness to go above and beyond is appreciated. Also the guy who did my ultrasound (cant remember his name) he noticed things that other specialist missed for the last 15 years! They make a Great team!

Dr Sterling has the BEST bedside manner of any physician I have ever met. Besides being a fantastic surgeon he is such a warm and compassionate person.

Dr. Sterling is such a wonderful doctor. Very compassionate and professional. He was so thorough and made me feel like I was his most important patient. His assistant, Anne is also such a pleasure to work with. She handled every little detail and just added to a very positive experience. I recommend him to everyone!

We were referred to Dr. Sterling by several of our son's doctors as the expert who could help our son. He has a vascular malformation of his leg that had been growing and causing him a lot of pain. He had stopped playing soccer and running around with his friends. Dr. Sterling spent a lot of time with us and our son. After some testing with MRIs and doppler tests, he mapped out the best way to treat the problem. He treated him with a catheter and embolization. That was 6 months ago and now our son is back running with his friends and happy once again. He has absolutely no pain and we owe all of our thanks to Dr. Sterling.

Where do I begin. I have had severe pelvic pain for 8 years. It all started after my second pregnancy. I have had so many tests and no diagnosis. I have been given many prescriptions for pain medication, but I hate the way they make me feel. I have seen 2 gynecologists that wanted to do a hysterectomy but they couldn't tell me why I was in pain. I have seen a urologist, gastroenterologist, orthopedic surgeon and pain doctors who have done several diagnostic procedures without any help or diagnosis. Finally, I was referred to Dr. Sterling, an Interventional Radiologist in Alexandria, VA. He is an expert in vascular causes of pelvic pain. After one consultation with him, he knew exactly what my problem was. Something called pelvic congestion syndrome. He did a procedure on me called ovarian vein embolization. After 2 weeks, I was cured. It was a miracle! I have not felt this good in years. I am totally pain free and it has been 6 months since the surgery. He has the most wonderful… bedside manner and I can't say enough about him and his staff. Life savers!
