Dr. Keith Yoshio Terada, MD

I was dx with ovarian cancer stage 3B and was referred to by my OBGYN. She explained you will be in good hands and said good luck. Get use to good luck because that’s all anyone can really tell you. He explained what will happen and that hardest to hear it’s a 50/50 chance of survivor like any other cancer. I braced myself for surgery followed by five rounds of chemotherapy. Yes. He is a quiet man but you come with your list of questions and he will answer any you may have. Thanks to him I am a 6 year OVCA survivor.

Dr. Terada is a soft-spoken extremely talented and competent physician. He's not overly chatty. He answers every question fired at him. Personally, I would rather have his outstanding capabilities than a conversationalist. .

I never heard of doctor Terada until I was refered by my obgyn. He is very kind, soft spoken, knowledgeable, and discussed options I could take regarding removing a malignant ovarian cyst. He made be feel at ease and in the know of the procedure I was going to have done. He is mt lifesaver.

Dr. Terada removed my very large malignant ovarian tumor. I didn't know anything about him when I was referred there. I now know he is one of the best physicians I have ever seen. Dr. Terada is quiet and very soft spoken, but answers all questions directly without equivocation.

Referred to Dr Terada after dx of endometriod CA. This MD seems very experienced and skilled in examination and treatment within current standard guidelines, meaning surgery. He was willing to listen, discuss, and explore various options with me to come up with a reasonable and workable plan. He was quiet and respectful of my concerns but it did help that I "did my homework" and knew what to ask; otherwise I suspect many questions and alternatives might not have been brought up. My numerous questions were time consuming but he was very gracious with addressing them. In areas outside of his focus/expertise he was willing to provide referrals. Overall good experience.

Took time to answer my questions/concerns. Comes highly recommended in Hawaii. Others in the medical field told me that I was in experienced hands.

Dr. Terada is an excellent doctor and caring person. This is the place to go for gyn/oncology. He also left me with a beautiful scar, like a plastic surgeon would leave.
