I scheduled an appointment for my daughter on an urgent basis when she injured her wrist in a soccer game. Her staff was attentive and once I was done with the paperwork, we were seen right away. No wait time! Xrays were performed and Dr. Wear diagnosed a fracture as well as lax wrist ligaments. I found her to be caring, knowledgeable and professional.

Not impressed.

This was one of my most positive experiences in a physician's office. I had heard terrible things about surgeons and had bad experiences in the past. I came to Dr. Wear for a second opinion when another surgeon wanted to take out part of my daughter's bone. Dr. Wear was wonderful! She spent a lot of time with us explaining our choices. We went with a much less radical surgery and my daughter was using her wrist within the next week. She is a competitive dancer and horseback rider, so the first operation would have put her behind for months. She is thrilled. Before the surgery, Dr. Wear spend a long time going over every option starting from things we could do without surgery and ending with surgery. It is nice to know that all surgeons aren't just out to make money on people. The staff was warm and welcoming from the minute I came into the office. It became very busy because a man walked in with some of his fingers nearly cut off with a saw and Dr. Wear got him into the back right… away. I gave the office only three stars in wait time because of that, but it really wasn't anyone's fault and she clearly did the right thing. Despite the disruption, everything moved smoothly and I was still back in the room within twenty minutes of finishing filling out my papers. The medical assistant was GREAT! Gave us a lot of attention and was knew a lot about hands and wrists. Then he called the next day after the surgery to make sure that everything was alright. Overall, we got the feeling that the staff really cared about us. There was none of this indifference that you see in other offices and it doesn't have that real sterilized look. There is personality in the place.Best of all, my daughter went on to win in the top ten in the state when she couldn't even use her wrist before having surgery with Dr. Wear.

I felt compelled to respond because the last review seemed so unfair to Dr. Wear. My experience with Dr. Wear and her office staff was wonderful. I disagree with the critique of her office left by the last reviewer. She has an older office that has a lot of character once you get inside. It is true that it does not have that overly clinical feel to it that people usually get when they go to the doctor. But she does have all of the normal office reading material as well as books for a wide variety of interests. I only saw her twice and did not have to wait a long time either time, but I cannot comment on that. But her office is adorable and comfortable and her staff very professional. I was extremely satisfied with my care and highly recommend her to anyone.

Sat for over an hour - finally went to the front desk and they said the Dr was busy - not impressed with the office - in the 45-60 minute wait post check wait of 15- minutes, I saw every dry wall patch and dirty stains from the office renovation that were not done professionally. The office is in poor shape (formica floors) + the Drs "flip" regard for the schedule - the budha books in the lobby, wierd touch (not wrong just WIERD) - dont waste your time!

Dr. Wear got me in right away even though she had a full day because she knew I was concerned about my hand injury and did not want to wait. We were concerned about an infection after the injury. She called me two days later to make sure the infection was getting better. I saw her three other times for follow up and each time she listened to me until I was finished. She also asks about my family and seems to genuinely care about her patients as people. I have recommended her to two of my friends since that time about a year ago and both of them loved her as well. All of us are doing excellent after her care!

Dr. Wear is a true professional. Excellent bedside manner, very knowledgeable, she knows her stuff! You can also tell she cares about you as a human being. I highly recommend her to anyone. She has moved from this group and has her own practice now in Broomfield.
