First of all I can’t believe all these negative reviews about Dr Chung because I have gotten nothing but the most positive and professional care from her She gave me my options and even after I had decided to go ahead with some mastectomy I changed my mind and wanted to do a lumpectomy but then changed it back to a mastectomy This did not face Dr Chung she was willing to go along with whatever I wanted to do and in the end she was very happy that I decided to do the mastectomy because it was the best choice for me I have gotten nothing but the most professional and caring attention from Doctor Chung. I recommend her highly to anyone needing surgery or consultation Thank you Dr Chung!

I had a laparoscopic appendectomy with Dr. Chung and returned to her when I needed a robotic hernia repair. I'll choose her again for any general surgery that I or my family members need. I've been extremely pleased with her knowledge, care, approach, bedside manner, availability, and follow up. Also, her office staff is extremely responsive to requests for information, help with medications, etc. In an era where "corporate run healthcare" can be frustrating to deal with, Dr. Chung and her staff really stand out with an old school attentiveness and level of care.

she doesnt ask her patients about all there medical history all she does is has vitals and then does the surgury without knowing anything about the patient not a good surgeon don't have this person do any kind of surgery for you get someone else.

Dr Chung is very short and seems to think she knows all. During surgery she seemed to be more focused on her recreational activities instead of communicating about the process of the surgery with having no consideration for your opinion or your feelings. No compassion.

Went to Dr Chung to discuss breast cancer surgery. She was very compassionate, friendly, and explained everything in terms my husband and I could understand. Both my husband and I felt very confident after leaving her office. We were still nervous about the breast cancer but no longer worried about my care by this great doctor.

Dr. Chung was referred to me for a hernia problem. On me mentioning we had been praying for healing she replied, it’s not going to heal itself, then later called my beliefs a pipe dream. I am 5,8” around 245 lb, yes overweight,my blood pressure that day eith coffee that morning was 137/93, yes too high. She told me my body can only hold so much. She also said she wasn’t going to lie to me. I am a strong believer in truth, so I respect that, and replied I never asked her to lie to me. Offered meds to bring down my bp. I said I don’t like pills. So she refused to do surgery until I get my bp/weight down. But then she offered Gastric bypass. Well if you can do gastric bypass with high bp, then you can also do Hernia surgery with high bp. I will not let this woman do surgery on me. In fact I plan on writing a formal letter to the Dr. Clinic about how she insulted me, my beliefs and offered cosmetic surgery while deniying taking care of my hernia. I may have to change clinics if that’s what… it takes.

Dr Chung has an excellent bedside manner She made both my husband and I feel so much better. She explained everything and said she would take good care of me.

Took an immense amount of time explaining options and pros and cons of all. She is very intelligent and still down to earth. Very nice, caring and compassionate doctor. She takes a lot of time for family questions too.
