Dr. Kellie Ann Harris

Every staff member that I've encountered has been not just helpful and professional, but personable to a degree I've very rarely witnessed in any of my dealings with any office in all professions. They've explained in detail every step of the way, exactly what will happen next and have carried out those steps with immaculate and professional skill. I don't think I'll have to search for dental care again as long as their doors are open.

Wow, what an experience with Kellie A. Harris. I went in two weeks ago for a regular cleaning and x-rays. First, I want to say the dental hygienist, Nancy Bourg was top rate! Personally, I give her a 5 but Dr. Harris a 1. When I went to the office last I sent her a small thank you card for having a "professional demeanor, caring attitude and just being a great person." Well that is where the glowing review stops. Dr. Harris came into the examining room and spent no more than 5 minutes with me. It was right before lunch so I was her last stop before leaving the office. As she poked around my mouth for no more than 3 minutes, I was informed I have a total of 5 cavities. I was shocked. I had major dental work performed last year and I could not believe her diagnostic. After Dr. Harris left, I then completed my x-rays and was told I would receive a call in a few day about my visit. Well about a week went by and no call. I eventually called and was a little upset about… the no response from the office. I was assured I would be called by Kellie A. Harris to discuss my treatment in no more than 15 minutes. A day later, I received a call at work. After listening to the voice mail, I was asked to return to the office to pick-up my estimate. I went to the office to receive my file due to me wanting a second opinion. This was when I was finally presented with an estimate. My jaw dropped when I found the over $6,000 estimate for now, not only the 5 cavities but now including the work for 3 crowns (remember, these all showed up on the estimates, never did Kellie A. Harris discuss the treatments with me). I cannot believe that my teeth were in such bad shape (considering I floss 2 times and brush 3 times daily). Here is the final surprise. After my first bill of $299, I decided to check the medical blue book. I found a mark-up of over 25% the blue book estimates. I can well imagine that I am facing a similar mark-up for my most recent estimate as well. Sorry, Kellie A. Harris, I refuse to be an involuntary consumer in this matter. I am going to find a better price and call you on your shenanigans. You are fleecing people and you know it. Shame on you. My piece of advice, avoid Kellie A. Harris at all costs and be an educated consumer.
