Dr. Kellie Christine Lease Stecher, MD

Dr. Stecher is truly the best doctor I have ever had across all specialties of doctors I have seen. I first started seeing her at the recommendation of a friend after I had a negative experience at an infertility clinic and had all but given up. I immediately felt at ease with Dr. Stecher and felt as though she truly cared. She did everything she could to recognize my concerns and ensure I was comfortable with my care. I truly feel that she is the reason that I have my son now. I also feel that she is the reason that I am still here to raise my son. I had a very complicated pregnancy and she took such care to make sure no stone was unturned and that we were not missing any potential issues. When I was about to be released from the hospital 3 days after my c-section, she decided to do some last minute bloodwork and blood pressure checks because she just wanted to be extra certain that I was ok to be released - she just said she had a gut feeling. Sure enough, I had developed… postpartum pre-eclampsia - ultimately determined to be a severe case of it that kept me in the hospital for another week. Had I been released that day, I could have had seizures, a stroke, or worse - and been in much worse shape by the time I got rushed to the emergency room. I am forever grateful for Dr. Stecher. Any patient would be lucky to have her on their side.
