Dr. Kellie Jane Lim, MD

Dr Lim cancelled my appointment twice after waiting 2 months. The first time it happened, I was told I would receive a call back from the office within 2 days for scheduling accommodation. This never happened, I called back after a week and rescheduled. The staff informed me that she might cancel again. I didn’t know what to think of this, but went ahead and took the next available appt. It has been pouring for 2 days now. I drove 1.5 hours in pouring rain, and 30 mins before the appointment time I receive a call saying my appointment is cancelled again. If you’re a new patient, stay away from Dr Lim. She lacks respect and professionalism. I am in utter shock that she is comfortable mistreating patients time. I’m a student at UCLA, I had to miss class and drove hours for this appointment. Disappointed. Please reconsider if you’re thinking about seeing this Dr.

She is negligent. She has REPEATEDLY failed to sign off on orders for life-saving treatments she has ordered, does not respond to pages from the hospital, does not arrange for coverage when she’s not available. She leaves patients stranded in the hospital unable to get their treatments. She is a big, big problem. Fixing the problems require other doctors to jump in on an emergency basis, causing unnecessary delay, anxiety, and commotion. If this happened only once, it might be excusable but it is a recurring problem.

I have been seeing Dr. Lim for several years to manage my asthma and allergy issues. She has previously been a great doctor. Over the past six months, I have had 4 appointments cancelled on me with zero explanation and a very weak apology from her staff as well as no offer to see another doctor. Some appointments were cancelled a week before and others the day before or day of. I finally asked if there was another doctor available as I have been just suffering through asthma exacerbation and was told if I saw another doctor, I would have to completely transfer my care. This is not healthcare, this is a business and a bad one at that.

She did absolutely nothing

She lacks any compassion to patients. Speaks in a rude way and does not seem to trully care about patients.

a nine minute delay was enough for her to cancel my appointment after I waited over a month to see her. Clearly people can wait for her in the waiting room of her office in Santa Monica, but she is too diva to show some compassion. I didn't re-schedule with this doctor. And her staff at the desk couldn't persuade her to see me anyway. She has a graduate degree, so do I, but I'm way more humble than her and a doctor should be different.

One of the worst doctors I've ever seen.uncaring and arrogant.
