Dr. Kellie Anne Motschmann, MD

Kellie delivered my daughter Via C-section in 2019. She was very professional, empathetic to my nervousness and compassionate. She was also extremely thoughtful and supportive of me through my first pregnancy which unfortunately ended in miscarriage.

My first and last visit with Dr. Motschmann lasted under 10 minutes. I went in for a preventative visit after not seeing an OBGYN for several years(my previous doctor retired) and she wouldn't do a pap smear even though that's the reason I was there. She was judgmental and rude and cut me off from speaking more than once. She told me she didn't have time for me because she was "running late for the hospital". A few weeks went by and I received a bill for two office visits. When I called the office to inquire they told me it was because the doctor discussed things outside of a preventative visit so I had to pay an additional $100. I know with certainty this was false because the doctor cut my appointment short, but she had intentionally wrote things in my chart for the visit that were discussed during a previous visit with my old doctor so she could bill me more. I will never be returning to this practice. If you are a patient I would be careful and examine your bills because it is… likely that there is insurance fraud being committed. It is clear to me that she is in it for the money and not the wellbeing of her patients.

Ladies, you may think she is so sweet and wonderful and that may be one of the reasons you return again.( I am sure you have others) Her actual annual exam is about 5-6 minutes long. She is too quick to get through the exam and happened to miss a nodule on my ovary last year. She spends 7 seconds on listening to your heart which I think a minute or so should be adequate. It is possible she was rushing the day she missed my nodule. Perhaps she was late for a lunch date with her unprofessional,rude Medical Assistants. Tell Kellie if you get one who you feel is disrespecting you. If your insurance plan says you can get an annual gyn exam with pap every year, and Queen Kellie says she does them once every 3 years or some silly criteria, GO ELSEWHERE and get one done every year. The interesting thing to note is that Kellie wants you to come back in a year. But if you don't meet the criteria you don't get a pap for some year(s). Lastly, I have been going to see her since she came to her… Plainville,CT office. Today, her ego has swelled to the point she can't even wear her crown. Really ladies, give someone else a try. She thrives on getting your dollar but not being thorough enough to tend to your body thoroughly which is what you came to here for.

Doctor did not renew my birth control after she canceled my appointment. I have pre existing health conditions and need to take it monthly. I called their phone service on the weekend and got a response of "nothing we can do about it". Extremely disappointing and did not care at all.
