Had my first visit today and everyone was very professional. My appointment was on time and I was put at ease almost immediately.. which isn’t easy since I’m a retired critical care nurse. I would highly recommend Dr. Abate

Just left this office for a follow up visit. Dr. Abate and her entire staff are excellent. They each interact with patients in a very professional yet friendly manner. I almost feel like Dr. Abate and her staff are family! Very important when dealing with possibly frightening information.

Dr. Abate removed my first mole on my right arm back in the early 2000's. To this day I still have a large, discolored, ugly scar from where she dug into my arm and removed the mole. I even have scar marks from where the stitches were. The stitches were left in too long and should have been removed sooner to avoid the scarring. Since then, I have had other moles removed by other doctors and can say that the mole removed by Dr. Abate was just horrendous. I recall asking her if I should I should consider getting the mole removed by a plastic surgeon. She stated I could but either way I would have a scar from the incision. At the time, I really liked her so I decided to go with her. Never did I imagine that I would have such a large and discolored scar. To this day, I regret having Dr. Abate perform a mole excision on my right arm.

I had a problem that even my primary care doctor referred me back to my urologist Dr.Abate like the professional that she is examined the problem with class.

She is a great doctor. She makes an effort to make you comfortable and explains everything in layman's terms so the patient can understand what is going on.

Dr. Abate is excellent. She is gentle with her treatment. She explains the process that will take place which puts you at ease. She is by far the sweetest doctor that has treated me. When a particular cosmetic treatment didn't work on me, she researched to find an alternate treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Abate.

Very pleasant doctor but unacceptable wait times. Twice I waited 45 minutes for my appointment and once I waited 30 minutes. Better management of scheduling is needed.

Referred to Dr. Abate by PCP. Dr. Abate's office did not inform us before the initial visit that she did not participate in HMOs. Unfortunately, for ins. rsns, we will have to find an HMO participating dermatologist. However, despite the ins. issue, I would recommend Dr. Abate.
