Dr. Kelly Marie Andra, MD

Without getting into too much detail, I’ll just say that I will not be returning due to the way I felt treated. Sharing personal issues was not easy as she felt cold and her responses were very judgy. Also, they have a policy on being late, which is understandable. I wrote my appt down as being 15 minutes later than it was actually scheduled for. So when I showed up, I was right on time for my actual appointment. I wrote down my name and they asked me to take a seat before they checked me in as there were so many people in line. I waited for 20 minutes before they got to me. At this point, I was 20 minutes over my appointment time. They told me their late time was 15 minutes and I had exceeded this, even though those 20 minutes were spent sitting in their waiting room ready to check in. I missed an afternoon of work for nothing.

I was not happy with my previous Doctor so I took a friends recommendation of Dr Andra. I had been treated for Asthma for over 10 years with different types of inhalers but never felt much relief. On my first appointment with Dr Andra I asked her about this issue. She examined me and said she thought I might have a vocal chord dysfunction. She set up pulmonary function tests which backed up her diagnosis. She then scheduled me an appointment with a Pulmonary Doctor who told me I have an excellent Doctor to diagnose this since most doctors don't figure it out. After a few sessions with a Speech Therapist learning relaxation and breathing exercises I was cured. I have recommended her to a friend that was having similar issues with her Doctor. She diagnosed her and is enjoying better health. Thank you Doctor Andra!

I felt so comfortable with her and she was easy to talk to. She is very thorough and I have every confidence in her abilities to treat me.

Dr. Andra was very personable and emphathetic. She is very engaging when asking questions and I felt confident she would help me with my health issues.

I have seen Dr. Andra for approx. 8 yrs and wish she was still with St. Luke's Medical Group. I had excellent care, her nurse always got back with me in a timely manner and never had to worry about the treatment or care while she was my Doctor. I had to see a different doctor with the same group and it made me realize how fortunate Imwas to have had Dr. Andra as a doctor and have not had the same experience with the staff at the same group since she has left. Not sure if this group has changed the way they do things, but if I could find another doctor and her staff again like I had with doctor Andra, I would switch in a second. Dr. Andra was a wonderful doctor and I really miss her.

She's nice enough but not much a talker. Doesn't put you at ease.

My sister and Mother are patients of Dr. Andra. When I got my job and finally have my Insurance, my sister said that I can go to her and have a annual check up which will be covered by my insurance 100%. I met her, I like her. But she coded my exam wrong. So my insurance didn't pay for it because they said its not a routine exAm. I called in a span of 4 months and I never got a call back from Them. My sister called her officer manager today and told them that she lost all three of us as patients.

Dr. Andra is a caring physician who takes the time to listen to my concerns and explores them thoroughly. As a healthcare professional myself, I appreciate and recognize that she goes the extra mile to provide great care. An example of this is that she phoned me at 7pm on a Friday evening to tell me some test results. In my experience, this is almost unheard of with physicians any more. I highly recommend Dr. Andra.

I was referred to Dr. Kelly Andra by my mother who has had excellent care from her. As for me, I will not return. She does not talk to me, but to my file and to her computer. She does not listen to my complaints or concerns. She does not discuss the full extent of tests with me, ordered an MRI when I receive the tests results, it was on my spine which is not my complaint. The most upsetting is receiving the tests results in the mail on a Saturday from her office with information highlighted but no telephone call from her or her staff regarding the results. This is does not tell me she cares for her patients, it tells me she is too busy to bother.

I thrilled to have found Dr. Kelly Andra. I was referred to her by a friend that highly recommended her. She explains everything in understandable terms. Shs is very compassionate person that cares about you as her patient. I feel fortunate she is my physician. The staff are wonderful as well!
