She Listened carefully to my description of the problem. Responded to all if my concerns. She was able to give me options for alleviating the immediate pain and the problem causing the pain. I recommend her highly.

I really wish there was a higher rating! Dr. Babineaux took on my emergency thumb surgery on a Sunday afternoon. I had a pressurized container fail and explode in my hand at work. It all but removed my thumb. The ER Dr. wanted to simply remove it and move on. I was willing to accept that fate, but not until I had a 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th opinion. The hospital called every available Dr, Surgeon, and Hospital between Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. Dr Babineaux agreed to try to save my thumb and has been quite successful. The initial surgery was almost 6 hours and included 4 pins and an external fixture to hold the bones together, along with a nerve splice, and even having to use blood vessels to tie the arteries back together, in addition to the 25+ stitches to sew it back together. As the first 2.5 months went by, first the stitches were removed, then week by week the 4 pins were removed. Finally the external fixation was removed and a fusion was done on the middle thumb joint due… to the extensive bone damage. It has now been 6 weeks since the fusion and I am getting back to pre-accident normal. My hand will never be exactly the same, but I feel I am at 60% now, and as time goes on I will end up at 80%+ full use. Had it not been for Dr Babineaux's hard work, I would be at 10-20% usage of my hand. Due to my work field, I speak to numerous people throughout the world. Everyone I have spoken to thinks very highly of the skill and care of Dr Babineaux. She will go far in her career and will be one of the top ranked hand surgeons in the world. I wish her the best!
