Dr. Kelly P Boggan, MD

Every visit dr. Boggan records in depth information about my baby, how I feed my baby, how much breastmilk I feed her, hpw long, on and on. She asks if I do anything to effect my baby loke smoke and of course would never allow me to take anything that would adversely effect my baby through breast milk. I am a recovering addict and I have been clean for 5 years now because I stay in testament to help me be the best person and more importantly mom I can be. For insurance to pay for this and for me to get the proper treatment that is required of breastfeeding moms, I have to have an updated note stating I am breastfeeding. Kelly Boggan refused to give me the information that I have stated I am breastfeeding in a signed note this time. She got tired of dealing with my problems as her nurse told me. Even though this is information they require of me and not getting the note directly effects my baby. As I am crying trying to explain this the burse told me dr boggan doesn't want to hear about… it again to go find my own help. This was after rescheduling my already late in the month appointment for my baby's 4 month check up. So now she will be even later as we have had to completely switch pediatricians since she hates moms in recovery and treats them like garbage not worth her time. The new pediatrician also told me this note is standard practice and he writes them for many patients so really was just being hateful and making things hard for me out of spite. Do not go to her if you ever were an addict and turned your life around, she will treat both you and your child poorly.

Dr. Boggan is such a great doctor not only is she great in the medical part but she is a great person also who takes time to interact with the kids and make them feel at easy and make sure the parents know exactly what’s going on with their health could not ask for a better pediatrician

This doctor was great with my 10 wk premature infant and first child. She answered all of my questions and seriously listened to all of my concerns. She was very friendly and honestly my child loved her. She was patient with me knowing I was a first time mother and she was the first call I made when I gave birth to my second child. I have no complaints and couldnt say enough great things about this doctor.
