I saw Dr. Brauer for suspected alpha-gal syndrome due to delayed reactions (2–4 hours) to mammalian meat, including hives. Despite classic symptoms and prior abnormal alpha-gal lab results, my concerns were dismissed. Skin testing was done without explanation of what was being tested, and I was told I wasn’t allergic to anything I react to and to see a GI doctor. Very little time was spent with me and I was billed $200+ out of pocket. I felt treated like a number rather than a patient.

First time visit with Dr Kelly Brauel for consultation. Just speaking, nothing else. Got the bill; $205!! Keep that in mind when you go! I was supposed to go in for allergy testing but had the flu that week so the receptionist said she would call back and reschedule - THAT never happened either. Flaky place that price gouges apparently!!!
