She is someone who listen to her patients, pays attention to the details and make a conscious effort to understand causes instead of just the effects. She is surrounding herself with very professional and helpful staff, I don’t see how any patient can be disappointed seeing her.

Dr. Carden dissects personal sleep issues to find overall resolution. She makes it easy to understand diagnosis and implementing a path to better sleep.

I came to Dr. Carden because I was nodding off at work, while playing at home with my kids, and even catching myself falling asleep behind the wheel. I was referred to her by my PCP and I assumed she would order a sleep study. She said she was perfectly willing to do that, but first she needed to rule out any bad sleep behaviors I had developed. I didn't think I had any - I don't use my phone or watch tv in bed, and I would usually go to bed around 11pm and get up at 4:30am. She told me that wasn't enough, so I kept a sleep journal for a month and started going to bed at 10pm and waking up at 5am. Within a week or two, I wasn't feeling tired anymore or falling asleep at inappropriate times. I was sleep deprived and had no idea; I assumed everyone could just get by on 5 to 6 hours sleep because I know so many who do (or at least seem to). Well, it turns out I need at least 7 hours, and even though it was a tough adjustment, it changed my life. Thank you Dr. Carden!

She's Soooo knowledgeable!! Politely direct, very helpful with present and future possibilities. Keeps me aware of medical advances. She listens. I drive from Atlanta for her care. She's that good!!

I suffer from Restless Leg Syndrome, and it has gotten quite bad in the last year. I had seen the doctor who is supposedly the "expert" on this disorder, and his treatment lacked the specificity, care, and quite frankly, knowledge that you would expect. After being kept waiting almost three hours for my last appointment, at which time he only prescribed more medicine, no blood testing, and no follow-up appointment, I looked for another doctor. Dr. Carden is not only knowledgeable, but experienced in the treatment of Restless Leg Syndrome, having some personal insight herself. She was extremely surprised at the treatment I had been receiving, and was both firm and definite about what we needed to do to get me relief --not sugar-coating the fact that it would take some months, since I had actually been getting worse because of the way I was being treated. She told me, "Take notes!" and proceeded to outline a treatment plan, including blood testing for iron and ferritin, immediately… ceasing the donation of blood which was only making my situation worse, changing my antidepressant medicine, taking a liquid iron supplement in the evening with Vitamin C, rather than in the morning -- all of this absolutely NOT mentioned by either my GP or the "specialist." Within three months, my RLS was controlled, with little or no relapsing, and I feel much more confident that I can cope with this ailment. Dr. Carden has a great deal of knowledge about sleep disorders in general, but her treatment of Restless Leg Syndrome, and her positive and knowledgeable attitude toward working with patients, puts her head and shoulders above any other doctor in her field.

One of the most caring, knowledgeable doctors I have had the pleasure of seeing. I honestly do not know where I would be without her today. She took the time to teach me to understand my disorder. She cared enough when other sleep specialist told me this was the best I would get to go the extra to make sure it wasn't! I highly recommend for anyone with any type of sleep disorder to come see Dr. Carden you will be so glad you did!!!!

Dr. Carden's bedside manner is impeccable. She truly cares about her patients and the quality of their life. Once diagnosed with sleep apnea her encouragement and expertise has changed my life. Sleeping is the most healing and positive way to make life worth living. She will encourage you to be the "best you" you can be - but first you must sleep. I recommend her to anyone that will listen to me and my story!!!

She's the best. Never hurried, always thorough. In diagnosing my sleep disorder, she's improved my quality of life immensely. I'd recommend her to anyone dealing with sleep issues. The entire office staff is courteous and professional from the time you arrive to the time you leave. Dr. Carden is at the top of her field!!

Dr. Carden and her entire staff are extremely helpful. They absolutely care about their patients. They have always been prompt. Dr. Carden is blunt but, very polite. I fell very blessed to be able to be seen by her.
