Dr. Kelly Dodge is a amazing doctor right on the case for my testical pain.

I went into ER with excruciating pelvic pain that had been ongoing for 3 days. When she finally came to my room she suggested aspirin (as though I hadn’t tried that). She completely acted disinterested in my symptoms and told me to wait till the aspirin kicked in. As predicted the pain wasn’t relieved at all so she did an ultrasound sound and found a cyst on my ovary but said it probably wasn’t the reason I was in pain. She then had the nurse give me a Norco and referred me to an OB/GYN that couldn’t see me for 3 weeks! The Norco made me feel completely loopy and and I felt awful. I said I couldn’t go on like this for 3 weeks. The nurse reported this to her and she didn’t even come back. She simply said there was nothing she could do, and that I needed to go home. Her diagnosis? Pelvic pain. Yeah thanks for that. What a waste of time.

Dr Dodge was thorough, courteous, kept me informed and explained everything. She was a straight shooter and funny at the same time. I truly want her to be my primary physician. Great job!

My husband went into Hoag ER after having severe back pain for over a week. We were instructed to go to the ER to get an X-ray. Dr. Dodge completely blew off our requests insisting it was just muscle spasms and prescribed pain pills and muscle relaxers. She did not listen to us and insisted he did not need any further testing. After still having pain the next morning, we went back to the chiropractor who took an X-ray and could immediately spot multiple bone spurs and a compression fracture. All that time and money wasted at the ER.

I saw Dr. In Hoag emergency. She is an outstanding Dr. And a crackerjack diagnostician. She listens and knows what should be done. She is very supportive and very conscientious about what course of action is best in every way for the patient.
