Summary
I have been a nurse since 1988 with a wide variety of experience that allows me to look at the patient holistically. I have been happily married since 1987. My husband and I enjoy scuba diving, boating and travel. I also make homemade soaps, salves, sourdough bread and enjoy gardening and fishing.I believe in empowering patients through education, advocating for their needs, involving them in their decision making and being a partner in their healthcare.I approach each patient with compassion and address both physical and emotional needs. My goal is to treat the patient holistically. Mind, body and spirit and not just the illness. I encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare journey. I believe in both an Eastern and Western Medicine approach. Most of all maintaining open and clear communication throughout the care continuum.
