She is a great doctor and takes care of him

I was impressed with the entire office. Dr. Bowman is extremely knowledgeable. She treated my son and I with warmth and respect and had good rapport with both of us. She explained the choices she made about his care thoroughly and was open to our input. I was so impressed I'm hoping to be able to get my other child into see her. Her staff was also knowledgeable and friendly.

My daughter was referred to Dr. Bowman’s practice in Aug. 2023. She could not see my daughter until Oct. 31 which I understood. I made the appt. & when the day arrived for the appt. Dr. Bowman was sick & needed to reschedule. I was understanding of this. However, her office told me they could reschedule my daughter for Jan. 23, 2024. When I said this was unacceptable the response I got was, “She is just completely booked.” I didn’t get a “Let me see if another provider in another office location could see her.” I didn’t even get an apology. I find it absolutely devastating that this office or NGPG Psychiatry would allow this to happen. How is it alright to reschedule for 3 months later when you have waited 2.5 months for an initial appointment & it was the providers request to reschedule? This is so disheartening to experience & alarming that a practice in the field of mental health, more specifically pediatric mental health, would operate this way.
