Dr. Kelly H Gerow, MD

I was a patient about 8 year ago. Worst experience of my life. Still today I regret even walking in that office. Dr. Kelly R. Gerow and her nurse Sandy are the worst. I had done a laparoscopic surgery with Dr. Kelly R. Gerow caught a staff infection from the surgery that she performed and it took me one year to get rid of and she would not help me. And she did nothing to help me. I had to be seen buy different doctors who actually cared to help. When I expressed my concerns to her and nurse, Sandy they thought I was ridiculous and laughed at me. And did not take any of my concern Seriously. While later I called the office to schedule another appointment with her concerning my infection that would not heal after surgery, and the front desk receptionist told me she had retired, which was a lie. Save your time and your money. Do not go to the doctor.

When I went in for my 36 week appointment, she stripped my membranes without telling me she was doing so. I only figured it out because she did it again at 38 weeks without my consent. She didn't wash her hands before putting on the gloves she did it with either. I ended up with an infection in my amnitotic fluid and an emergency c dection because my baby was unreactive. I truly believe that Dr. Gerow ruined my birth experience and I would've had a perfectly normal vaginal birth if not for the infection! I am pregnant again and definetely not going to back to her. I also thought some of the nurses were very rude.

I havent seen Dr Gerow since giving birth to my son in 1995. I just remember how awesome she was. Very caring, accurate, thorough and kind. Best Dr. Ive ever had.

Dr. Kelly Gerow was a disappointment for me. Scheduling an appointment is very difficult. It often takes two months before she can see you for a Pap. This was my second appointment with her and both times my wait has been between 25-30 minutes. The office is very dirty. The examination room had not been properly cleaned before I came in. Also, the restroom they use for patientâ??s urine samples was filthy! There was a dirty pee stained napkin where I was supposed to put my urine sample. Her nurse was very rude to me and made several negative comments about my acne (as if I could help my breakouts!). This left me feeling very uncomfortable and embarrassed about my personal appearance. The nurse was not confidential either. When I was changing into my gown, she abruptly opened the door without knocking and waiting. She then proceeded to ask me personal questions about a urine sample I had just given. The entire time she was asking me these confidential questions, the door was open! I was… shocked by how unprofessional the nurse was. When Dr. Gerow actually met with me, the Pap took about 5 minutes. She never discussed birth control options with me or asked about my sexual health history. I left and wondered if I needed to go to another gynecologist to redo the Pap. I will not be returning. I have filed a formal complain with the Department of Health and Human resources for uncleanliness.

I WAS RECENTLY A PATIENT OF DR. GEROW, WHEN I FIRST SAW HER EVERYTHING STARTED OUT OK AND SHE SEEMED VERY NICE. AS TREATMENT WENT ON SHE SEEMED MORE LIKE SHE WAS JUST WANTING ME OUT OF THE OFFICE. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH ONE THING AND WHEN I WENT IN FOR THE TREATMENT WAS TOLD IT WAS ANOTHER. HER NURSE SANDY TREATS YOU LIKE YOU ARE AN INCONVIENCE TO HER AND MAKES RUDE COMMENTS TO YOUR FACE. I WAS 3 WEEKS FROM A SURGICAL PROCEDURE AND WHEN I TOOK IN A CHECK FOR PAYMENT I CASUALLY ASKED ONE OF THE OTHER NURSES WHAT HER OPINION OF DR. GEROW WAS. SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS GREAT AND I TOLD HER THAT I WAS SCARED OF THE PROCEDURE I WAS FACING AND THAT HER OPINION HELPED. AN HOUR LATER I RECIEVED A CALL TELLING ME MY SURGERY WAS CANCELLED AND I WAS BEING DISMISSED FROM THE CLINIC. THE NURSE I TALKED TO TOLD THE DR. THAT I HAD ISSUES WITH HER AND DID NOT TRUST HER SKILLS. IF YOU WANT PERSONAL AND COMPASSIONATE CARE PLEASE I BEG YOU TO FIND A DOCTOR THAT WILL TALK TO YOU AND LISTEN TO YOUR CONCERNS… BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT FIND THAT HERE. â?¢ â?¢ â?¢

Excellent doctor, she is taking care of me during my secound pregnancy. She takes time with her patients and is overall a very nice caring person. She always asks if I have any questions or concerns and lets me know it's okay to call with concerns. This is a fantasic doctor!

This doctor thinks a pregnant woman should let her do whatever she wants to them because she is the doctor and she knows best. It doesn't matter to her that it's your body. If you disagree with her, she gets very spiteful and unprofessional. I would recommend all pregnant women to stay as far away from her as possible.

Dr. Gerow is a great dr.! Words to describe her are friendly, warm, caring, gentle, and, above all, professional. Our relocation has left me sorry to leave such a wonderful dr. I'm finding that such nice, professional drs are sometimes difficult to find!
