I LOVE DR HAMILTON. SHE IS THE BEST PERSON EVER AND SHE MAKES ME SO HAPPY (in the sheets;)

Dr. Hamilton diagnosed me with PCOS without tests, just by a physical exam. I got a 2nd and 3rd opinion with testing, I don't have PCOS. When I had my first pregnancy, it was early for testing, she told me to wait a week, then test again. If it was positive, I was supposed to call her office and get a blood test. I was told my medications were safe to take during pregnancy, which was completely wrong. She also asked me what my income was and mentioned that 19 years old is a bit young to have a baby, then asked if I could provide for a baby. I told her I didn't feel comfortable discussing my income since it was irrelevant to my visit and that I could provide. I waited the week and got a bold positive test. I called and was told she wouldn't see me or order the blood test since my first urine test was negative. I explained what she had said, but they still refused to do the blood test. I called a couple weeks later trying to be seen again, and a couple weeks after that. 1 time I was hung… up on. So I set up an appt. to see a different dr. once I was told I could switch. In the mean time after having some bad symptoms, I begged for the blood test, since I was worried about my pregnancy. I finally got it approved, but went to the ER the next day when I miscarried. It was unmistakeable. I was 11 weeks, almost 12 when I lost the baby. I saw Dr. Hamilton a couple months after and she said, "I doubt you were pregnant, it was most likely a heavy period." Then she recommended birth control to regulate my cycles. They asked me if I was going to try to get pregnant in the next 12 months, I wasn't sure so I said yes. She recommended the Depo shot. Me, trusting a doctor, got it stupidly without reading up on it. Turns out with some other medical problems I had I wasn't supposed to get the depo shot and it said not to take it if you were planning on getting pregnant within 12 months in the booklet I received AFTER I got the shot. The day I got the shot I was in the ER from a reaction the shot. And I dealt with severe pain caused by the shot for months with no way to help it. I never got the shot again or saw her again after that.
