She downplayed the time that it would take to recover and the insane amount of pain that a hemorrhoidectomy would be. I ended up getting the surgery as my first surgery because she had explained that it wouldn’t be that bad. As soon as I wake up from surgery, I’m in intense pain because she had used local anesthetic after I had told her that local anesthetic lasts less than half the time it should for my body for some reason. When I wound up in the ER a few days after my surgery because stitches had popped, she had awful bedside manner and was genuinely upset. I was even in the hospital to begin with. I was scared and alone in a room while Dr. Krier practically scolded me for even being in the hospital because of the pain. I ended up having to stay for a week. After asking for a second opinion, I guess she had gotten word somehow and came back into my room the next day just to scold me more. I’m 21 and I felt like a child getting yelled at. All for being in pain and my pain management… being more difficult because of my many chronic illnesses and issues absorbing medications. Not only did she not listen to me about any of my concerns. She was rude while I was in pain and crying. I absolutely would not recommend using her as a surgeon and it’s very obvious to me that she has a problem with bedside manner because even the nurses knew exactly what had happened and it’s obvious that she had been rude to the staff as well.

Worst bedside service Dr I have ever known. She shows no care or compassion for her patients. Beware, she rushed through the surgery and provided very little time for questions or concerns.

About six years ago I was diagnosed with colon cancer and my tumor had to be removed. Dr. Krier explained thoroughly what must be done to save my life, and she performed the surgery beautifully. My family and I can't thank her enough for her dedication and what she'd done for me, it was like God used her as an instrument to save my life. I am now cancer free and having a quality life with my family. My daughter was only seven years old when I had the surgery and I am thankful that I can live and watch my daughter grows older, all thanks to Dr. Krier. I have been a patient of Dr. Krier since being diagnosed with rectal cancer a year and a half ago. She performed surgery to remove the tumor in September of last year. In March of this year I had surgery to remove the ostemy. Both surgeries went extremely well. I have had the best outcome possible. Last month, she did my colonoscopy. I am cancer free today, and in excellent health. She has had a lot to do with it. I couldn'the be happier with the way she has treated me and my family when they visited me during my cancer surgery.

Dr. Krier is an awesome doctor who takes a potential uncomfortable situation and makes it bearable. She is friendly, takes her time to visit with you and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend her and will definitely return when future problems arise.
