Dr. Kelly Peter Letourneau

As i stated in a previous post, he was the best doctor i have ever seen. He improved my mobility as well as quality of life by being a caring compassionate understanding doctor that treated me as a person in pain, not a drug seeking liar. He explained everything to me and allowed me to participate in my own care. I was devistated when he told me i needed to look for a new doctor because until him, i was treated unfairly and poorly by all other doctors i had seen. I was afraid i would find the same treatment after him, and i was right. if he were still my doctor, i would never have agreed to or endured my FAILED lumbar fusion. That surgery was worse than child birth and has made my life and pain worse than before. I have looked for him at a new practice ever since, as well as tried to find what really happened. Here it is : HE SMOKED POT! That's it. no prescription sales, no malpractice, no dead patients. He used the same treatment he prescribed. A natural, non habit forming, effective… treatment for pain relief. And anyone who saw the man knew he himself was in pain. So, thank you DORA & CO Board of Medical Examiners for making me and many others miserable and at the mercy of the "doctors" you deem fit to practice medicine.

Why this Doctor didn't even tell his patients he was closing his office I will NEVER understand! And I agree with the person who stated Dr. Letourneau and his wife both looked as though they were on drugs I remember thinking that in my last appt with him. I have to also contacted the medical board as well as my new doctor has due to not being able to get any of my records. I hope this doctor is never able to do this to any other patient again.

I have left 5 messages after I saw the DR and was supposed to get more info and no one will return my calls. Amoungst many other issues I have been advised not to discus however we have reported him to the state medical board and others.

Dr. Letournea was the best doctor I HAD EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF BEING TREATED BY. The man always took absolute care with me, and was nothing but professional. I had been in so much pain from my multipul pain disorders including Fibromyalgia as well as arthritus and DDD, that I was not able to hold a job for over a year. Within 3 months time, he had me feeling better than ever. I have been through numorous doctors as a result of their gender and age discrimination against me. Dr. Kelly however addressed the problem instead of doping me up and masking the pain, respected me and my mother, took all the time that I needed, and made me feel validated as opposed to accusing me of being drug seeking. I think that whoever said it looked like his wife was doing drugs should look in the mirror, as pain patients, we all take drugs, dont get it twisted. All though i am currently under investigation as a result of his retirement and speculated indiscretions, I would jump at any chance to even… testify at his behalf, as well as would give anything to be treated by him again. He was able to restore my faith in the medical practice, up untill I had to find another doctor, and have still not found one that could make my pain dissappear like he could through Manipulation, not medication. I think alot of you have not seen the ugly side of doctors like i have, otherwise you would much more appriciate a man of his character. I hope he comes back, and I would give anything to be a patient of his.

I called to get an appointment 3 weeks after my last appt with him, only to get a recording that he has "retired". (He is under 40)Nothing was mentioned to me at my appointment. I am very disappointed in him for not letting this be known, so that his patients could find a new Dr. I am sure some still do not know as this just happened.

This doctor (if you'd like to call him a doctor) is a weird, Unprofessional, incapable, incompetent, lazy individual. This office is ran by him along with his wife who always looks like she has been doing drugs, they also bring their 1yr old son in and push him off on patients but the worst of what i seen in this office was the doctor (Kelly) and his wife telling each other f**k u. I had a morning appt. and waited for them to open the office for an hour durning this time a long standing patient joined me letting me know this was not unusual for the Letourneaus sometimes they don't even show up at all and not to be surprised if I couldnt get anyone to answer the phone or return a message. The lack of organization in this office was unbelievable as they could not even find my chart and to top it all off he also gave me the wrong medication. Do yourself a favor RUN!

He has helped my son for almost two years control his pain issues with fibromyalgia. His staff, including his wife is wonderful and caring. They take the time to listen to my son and Dr. LeTourneau is very well educated and up to date on medical knowledge.
