WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. SHE IS 100% uncaring and unprofessional. Will ask you to do a million test and never actually helping your real issue. Don’t waste your money or energy

I have been under the care of a urologist for years but when I started seeing Dr Maxwell she started ordering tests that I had never needed before. She made me feel as if my condition was more worrisome than any other doc prior to her which caused a lot of unnecessary anxiety. There were also several occasions when she was downright patronizing. It’s a shame that there aren’t more female urologists to choose from, but she is definitely not the one.

I was referred to Dr. Maxwell after a kidney stone and chronic UTIs. She was helpful at first but the stopped having the time to explain anything or appointments. She’s in the room for maybe 5 mins ever and doesn’t fully answer questions and referencing those questions later she denies saying things. She made a treatment plan and never notified me of it and after a surgery, she told my person I was out and the results but nothing about follow up so I was left to figure it out. Going to her wasted my time when I maybe could have found a doctor who listened to me and spent time in the room. I’ve never met a doctor who didn’t share potential treatment approaches and plans.

She’s distracted, dismissive and rude. Continually checking her apple watch while talking to us. She kept running in and out of the room during our appointment. Made us very uncomfortable that she was so unfocused.

She is diligent, careful, and caring. A+++

If you have a high PSA, Dr. Kelly will drill 12 holes in your butt and, if you're lucky, 24. This is what she does. It's CYA medicine. She doesn't care whether your initial condition actually improves. In my case, she made real efforts to try and improve my initial condition. So I wasted six months NOT treating with her. And never mind the fact that the rest of the medical world believes that a high PSA is a poor reason to do a biopsy and a very poor indicator of whether one has Prostate Cancer. She doesn't worry about that because she is going to drill holes in your butt. Oh, and if you actually HAVE Prostate Cancer? Guess what? Drilling holes in them is a terrible idea. It can spread the cancer. Drilling your butt does NOT help your initial condition that you sought treatment for. Dr. Maxwell was not particularly helpful for me in that regard. In fact, she was no help at all despite six months of treatment. She scheduled a procedure but refused to do it. A procedure that… would have diagnosed the specifics of my problem. So now I have to start all over again with another Uro. And it doesn't matter that there's better ways to find out if you have Prostate Cancer than drilling holes in your butt. This is what she does. There's better Uros out there. Find one of them.

I really enjoyed meeting Dr Maxwell. She was worried I had more going on and ordered back up tests and procedures and follows up for me. Nothing was wrong but I appreciate the concern and knowledge on her part. Plus she’s so personable. Totes love her.

First of all, it amazes me that a guy who got an early diagnosis for cancer only gave Dr. Maxwell a 4 star. I found her to be a very open and honest DR. who went the extra step to make sure I was OK. Bedside manner is always important but mainly I want honesty and if necessary be a good mechanic. She is both and I found her bedside manner to be exactly what I needed. She is well qualified and more importantly caring. I would highly recommend her to anybody.
