Dr. Kelly Marie Mcguire, DO

I went to her because of a failed umbilical hernia done by another doctor the opening was 2.0 cm. She mentioned that I should get a revision surgery with a mesh placement she also mentioned that she knew the doctor personally that preformed my surgery before. On the day of my surgery she didn’t provide any bedside manor she didn’t speak to me at all. After, I noticed I had no belly button and my pain was severe. I went to her to complain about the pain and she did not document it, she wrote in her notes that I had no complaints. As weeks went on I developed a 16cm wide gap in my stomach where my bowel is dislodged and I have no belly button plus untreated severe pain.

Went in for abdominal pain. She only read the CT report and never looked at the disc. She said I may have a small incisional hernia bc of the report but she could not feel it. She was not concerned about my pain. I had a bad feeling about her (felt like she thought I was exaggerating my pain). I went for a second opinion at LVHN and I had a 5 inch hernia with my intestine coming out and twisting. They immediately did surgery with a plastic surgeon and GS. Glad she didnt open me up!
