Dr. McKnight earned a Bachelor of Microbiology in 1997 and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2002 from the University of Florida. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Central Florida District Association.

Dr. McKnight was awarded The Academy One Hundred Award for Ethics and The Quintessence award in 2002. She has received the honor of being included in top Dentists. She was nominated and selected for inclusion in the American Institute of Dental Professionals.

This place is great! Dr. Mcknight and all of her staff are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend her!

Don't go to Buena Vista Dental unless you want to be discharged if you dare seek a second opinion. I truthfully could not have been happier with the office, staff and Dr. McKnight and was her patient for 18 months. When she told me I need a crown I checked her price against a dentist I went to before I moved to The Villages. My former dentist was going to do it for over $200 less so I decided to go to him making the trip back to my former home town. When I asked the office Manager to forward my xrays to him so that I didn't have to get them taken again I was advised that "it is the policy of this office that if you seek to go elsewhere you are not welcome back here." I told them I was thrilled with their service and wanted to continue but that I chose to have to crown done elsewhere to save money. I asked the manager to check with Dr. McKnight directly to assure her I still wanted to use her services and I was called back and informed that this policy has NO exceptions. To add… insult to injury they sent me a registered letter stating I was no longer welcome in the office. I have since found out that they have done this to other people as well including a handicapped gentleman who need a crown to be fixed that was put on by a previous dentist and he could no longer travel to get it fixed by the previous dentist. This office refused to help him even though he was a patient for over a year. So, I do NOT recommend them since they will not even allow a second opinion.
