Dr. Kelly Elizabeth Mistry, MD

The facility and the other doctors/nurses were outstanding. Dr. Mistry is the quintessential doctor with no bedside manners. While trying to make life or death decisions, she would sigh, and roll her eyes if it wasn’t what she agreed with. We felt bullied when we all were vulnerable and needed support and information. Not to mention Dr. Mistry kept asking my dad questions when he was on a lot of pain medication and was in no state to answer any questions. Thank goodness for the angel heart surgeon who explained our options without any judgement. Dr. Mistry’s persuasive and condescending manner almost caused us to make the wrong decision for my dad. So we’re very thankful for the other staff.

My son has a rare connective tissue disease that is degenerative. He’s been sick his entire life. He lives in horrible pain. He has so many complicated issues that are part of his disease. But she was dismissive and blamed all his issues on his pain medication. His body isn’t formed correctly the tissue is too weak it’s defective in his dna. All she could focus on was how much better he’d feel if he stopped taking his pain medication. If it wasn’t for his pain medication he’d have ended his life years ago. She was so ignorant that it’s impossible for him to get better. It’s a painful degenerative disease no one gets better. But she just kept lecturing against the Pain meds. Hope some one she loves gets treated so disrespectfully. Arrogant no business being a doctor.
