Dr. Kelly Ann Portnoff, MD

There is a reason for Dr. Portnoff's low ratings. I have never felt so ignored by a health care professional. She did not give me any opportunity to discuss my symtpons, and any time I tried she would interrupt. What is the point of filling out a symptom checklist if we do not discuss any of the symptoms? I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I have let my PCP and other specialist know that they should not refer any patients to this doctor.

Dr Kelly Portnoff is the most intelligent, sincere, and caring doctor. She has helped me for years with osteoporosis and endocrine disfunction. I value who she is. She always has time to explain very clearly what I have going on, and what to do about it.

Go somewhere else!!! I love Portland Clinic and this doctor is a shame and makes Portland Clinic look horrible. There are great doctors here but she is a disgrace to the company. HORRIBLE!!!!

I feel like there should be public awareness in the form of a public service warning of practices of Kelly Portnoff. I hesitate greatly to add the "Dr." to her name. She is completely inept as a doctor. There is no professionalism whatsoever. The Portland Clinic is doing a major disservice to its patients by employing her. She basically told me there is nothing wrong with me while sitting there looking at two different positive test indicating an autoimmune disorder. She told me they were false positives (on two different TYPES of tests) and refused to acknowledge the list of symptoms I have and didn't even examine my swollen joints and face rashes. She told me the chronic pain I have lived with for years was all in my head and that there is nothing wrong with me. She would not let me get a word in edgewise. When she started making political statements instead of examining my body or test results, I asked her to leave my room so I could get dressed. I left her office in tears and from… the reviews I've read, I am not the first person. She is completely unprofessional, socially inept, and insensitive. I cannot imagine how many patients with real issues have been turned away and continued to suffer because of her complete incompetence as a doctor.

I have to agree with most of the other comments on here. She should NOT be a doctor. She is really rude and doesn't seem to truly care. Quite odd for an Md! She interrupted me multiple times and discounted what other physicians told me as well as safety warnings of a medicine. On top of it, she didn't value my feedback on a supplement that appears to work. Don't even waste your time scheduling with her.

19 minutes ago-Edit This doctor is AWFUL! My husband has severe gout and has been on crutches for the last 2 weeks and has been bed ridden. He is barely able to get around and it took so much for him to get himself to the doctor because I work. He was 8 minutes late after driving in traffic for 45 minutes and she refused to see him. He offered to wait and let two other appointments ahead of him go to account for the 8 minutes, and she refused. "She said that is not how things work around here. " Well, it is good to know that your schedule for your appointments is far more important than your ACTUAL patients. How this lady is still practicing with such horrible patient relations, bedside manor and poor ethics is a HUGE question mark. Although, as I look through other reviews on here for her, it is obvious to find the common denominator is the DOCTOR.

Awful, cold, and if you are 4 minutes late she will cancel on you!

Staff was fabulous but she was Full of herself with no time left for me, her patient. Questioned and insulted the diagnosis and knowledge of my previous RA doctors. Claimed she reviewed 15-20 pages from other RA doctors, and did it in a record time of merely 5 minutes. Doesn't seem to acknowledge facts as presented by others in her field, but rather her own "logic". Asked questions addressed in the intake forms rather than spending time addressing my issues. Put me through a painful exam, never experienced by any other RA doctor in almost 20 years of care. Ignored obvious symptoms of my condition even when brought to her attention. Dismissed my spouse's concerns about diagnoses by RA doctors in the past stating she believed they misdiagnosed me.

She is not a people person. Seemed annoyed that I was even there. Very poor.
