Dr. Kelsey Hughes Sheahan, MD

Dr. Kelsey Sheahan is a board-certified physician specializing in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, as well as internal medicine. She earned her medical degree from The Robert Larner MD College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and completed her residency training at The University of Vermont Medical Center. With 11 years of clinical experience, Dr. Sheahan brings expertise in managing complex hormonal and metabolic conditions.

Dr. Sheahan practices at multiple locations throughout Vermont, including Northwestern Medical Center in Saint Albans, University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, and an endocrinology clinic in South Burlington. She focuses on treating conditions such as high blood sugar in both adults and children, as well as hyperglycemic emergencies. Her clinical skills include performing blood tests, cranial ultrasounds, and specialized thyroid and parathyroid ultrasounds to help diagnose and monitor endocrine disorders.
