I have been seeing Dr Burbank for about 6 months on and off for rotator cuff problem in both arms. I did not really want to have surgery and he did not push that. He referred me to other avenues. PT, injections etc.. It finally came down to I have to have surgery but this isnt what this review is about. He is a super chill doctor. You can talk to him on a personal and professional level. He does a great job explaining things. He is not a doctor that just does surgery to make money. He care about the well being and the getting results. They have a patient portal. If i have a question which happened to be 2 different times. He replied in less than 2 hours. His office staff is great. His assistant Patient is Unbelievable. Her smile makes you feel warm and comfortable. Needless to say he is the best Dr I have ever been to. I have bee to a lot. I suffer from seizures, had neck surgery from a seizures and knee surgery. ( I dont even like surgery did i say that) But… regardless I feel TOTALLY safe and at ease with him. He is the best. Takes his time talks in a way you understand and doesn't try to push surgery. If you want an honest and caring doctor look no further. I'm even going to call the patient advocate team and let them know that is how strongly I feel. I have never even done that ever. -John

First day at office was not like first day at kindergarden....it was not all fun and games....I waited over an hour to see the doctor...then he said I needed a procedure and I am still waiting for his unfriendly...uncaring staff to call me back.....I AM IN PAIN...DO THEY CARE NO ...ALL THEY CARED ABOUT WAS LOBSTER SALAD for lunch.....

After my knee pain progressed over a month, I was referred to Dr Burbank. My research online led me to believe my condition required surgery and the doctor seemed bothered by my knowledge of the issue, but ordered an MRI "to be sure". As he was going on vacation the following week, he passed me off to another doctor in his office, Dr Boisvert. On return after the MRI, she told me there was no surgery needed and prescribed physical therapy. The more I bent my knee, the more it hurt. After 4 weeks I decided to get a second opinion. My new doctor described my condition as "like having a pebble in your shoe and the pebble needed to come out". Exactly on week later I had surgery and the pain was gone immediately. Now one week later, I'm feeling great and sleeping again. My misdiagnosis led to over a month of extreme pain for no reason and I caution his patients to keep a second opinion in mind.
