Dr Higa and everyone at ALSA has been wonderful. I’ve been their patient since 2009 and they’ve been caring, supportive, and thorough. They’ve patiently answered my questions, offered options, given advice, and I’ve have two major surgical procedures done. I truly appreciate the care to detail given to my personal case and that I’m not just a standard protocol to them.

I would trust Dr. Higa w/my life as I have done on more than one occasion. I was a complicated patient from having a gastric leak and getting MRSA in the blood and spending 6 wks. in the hospital. Dr. Higa was right there w/me every step of the way. A fantastic Dr.

Dr. Higa and Dr Boone have always been very professional . As a patient over 60 years when I went for my consultation Dr Higa was prompt and very thorough in his explanation regarding my surgery. Thank you Dr Higa and the staff at ALSA??

Dr.Higa amd all of the Dr's in the practice with him are absolutely the best Dr's I know. They have always gone above and beyond for their patients! If they can't figure the problem out they will certainly try. I have much respect for all the Dr's and his Nurse Jennifer. I would recommend him and the other surgeons on a high. Don't trust the negative comments I have been a patient for many years and any procedures.

Dr Higa is rude with a smile on his face. I saw him for a second opinion (office policy). He spoke badly of my previous doctor and even stated he didn't have confidence in his current peer. He implied I was a liar and failure. He thinks highly of himself and tells me of his many degrees and titles. Very pompous. I do not recommend him.

I never see Dr. Higa, I try not to take it personally, as he is very busy. Except the nurses told me, "you will see him today" the last time i was in, then they send in someone i have never met before. I waited another half hour to 45 mins waiting to be seen by that person, after they pulled me to the back from the front waiting room. Not much can be done I guess, a simple hello, glad you are alive. That would be nice, a warm hand off, "i'm busy, but you are in the super capable hands of "Dr.???"
