Dr. Kelvin Sanjeev Shaw, MD

I have to deal with a few specialists with my health.I tried giving some history and current diagnosis. I was patient over the years but things got worse with allergies/asthma. Especially during certain seasons.Dismissive of health issues and hospitalization.Side effects were not monitored, no blood work orders. Some of the staff is very inexperienced.( person who did expensive testing)there was no doctor to confirm the test results but only read what was done! the test results did confirm some of what was done previously. I came to this location because I didn’t want to keep driving to my old allergist who is far away. I brought records. After testing and proof of allergies,asthma for their office, this doctor and staff just seem uncaring of the seriousness of my health.they didn’t deny that I have allergies, asthma the biggest issue I have is they don’t help when things get complicated. The records are conflicting and they keep partial limited proof of treatment and reactions.… monitor the work your office is doing. But at least acknowledge the other diagnosis so it’s on record you have listened. This doctor is nice don’t get me wrong.but when your dealing with a patient who has allergies, asthma with other confirmed medical diagnosis, you can always refer to someone else. Every doctor is different....... I thought this doctor was listening, now I might have to start over. If I would have known I would have looked for another doctor.

Dr. Shaw shows great compassion and bedside manner to me and my daughter when we have visits. He takes quality time to explain things thoroughly!

Dr Shaw is a exremly kind man, pretty sharp, i was in and out of the hospital, for 11 years, high fevers, little bit of everything, when in 2007, i arrived @ san jacinto in baytown, was in full blown coma, 107 fever for 2 weeks, they didnt think id make it at all, & if i did id have brain damage, etc, wouldnt be right,...but here i stand, thank you GOD,...anyways still drs couldnt find what was causing me to be sick 24/7,...i finally was referred to Dr Shaw,....in a matter of 2-3 bloodworks, in 2 months Dr Shaw, found out what was wrong, i suffered with a severe immune diease, called..."Hypogammaglobulinemia",...quite a long word,....treatment extremly exspensive, but i now knew what was wrong, he has a wonderful heart, bedside manner, and will stay and answer any questions you have, he doesnt overbook like 90% of Drs in todays world, his staff is also extremly well trained, they all are wonderful, & like him will go above and beyond to help you, I highly recommend Dr Shaw, as an… immuneologist, & allery Dr,....he is sharp, & knows his stuff, highly recommend,Thanks Dr Shaw

I would highly recommend Dr. Shaw to anyone suffering from allergies. A local pharmacist had mentioned taking her son to him for allergies and how pleased they were with his care. I'd been to a different allergist and was very unhappy with him. Dr. Shaw exceeded my every expectation and my systems are FINALLY clearing up. Wonderful doctor!!!
