Dr. Carpenter is an extremely kind and compassionate man. After a few years of shoulder pain, numerous therapies, and finally lack of motion, in 1 visit he knew what was wrong! Dr. Carpenter listened to me, caring about my lifestyle, before we ever discussed surgery. I am better than ever, just 2 weeks after! His entire office staff is wonderful.

I had knee scope surgery with Dr. Carpenter. I was so scared but he calmed my fears and took the time to clearly inform me on my choices. He answered all of my questions clearly. Surgery went great! Healing was fast and pain was minimal. He saw me and talked with me again before my surgery and kept my family informed. His staff is wonderful and the anesthesiologist was excellent. Everyone was on the same page, everyone knew what they were doing, and I felt safe the entire time. I would recommend Dr. Carpenter to anyone!

I would not recommend Dr. Carpenter to anyone. He did surgery on my ankle 2 years ago to remove hardware. The wound would not close and he did nothing to fix it. I had to take butterfly bandages and close it myself. Two years later, the wound has opened back up and he REFUSES to see me. Dr. Carpenter WILL NOT stand behind his work. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

Dr. Carpenter is an extremely respectful, caring, talented, professional, exceptional bedside manner and a genuine caring and emphasis on understanding the individual as a whole person. He is an exceptional human being and healer and in sincerely determined for his patients to have a great outcome and will work tirelessly towards that outcome. The best Doctor in Springfield with an impressive background in military medicine. Wish he had a private practice. A classy man and Springfield and its medical mile could do with more Dr. Ken Carpenters.

I saw Dr Carpenter through the emergency room due to a broken hip. He was very friendly, courteous, compassionate, and knowledgable. I would highly recommend this doctor.
