Dr. Kenneth Ray Clayton JR., MD

I am the authorized representative for my family member. We've had 2 appointments and still have not met this doctor. Understanding this is supposed to be a Family Practice office. Most recent appointment, nobody was wearing masks when we arrived. They only put them on when they came into room. Thought there was a covid19, maybe they don't think so. Will be contacting insurance for new doctor.

My appointment took place at the Palmdale office. The office is slightly dated but decent. It has a small waiting room and even smaller front office space. However, the medical assistants front and back were polite, and I was greeted upon arrival. I did not meet Dr. Clayton today. The provider that attended to me was Maria Callado. She was really cool...like I've known her for her years. She didn't make me feel intimated but she was professional. Unlike my previous physician, Dr. Callado referred me to an endocrinologist for my diabetes. She was thorough and took enough time with me and addressed my concerns. I appreciated that. If you can overlook the slight wait time and small facility, the medical staff here is great.

alls i know is since i changed primary drs 2 months ago , dr clayton has had all my medicine tests and results in this time frame ... im very pleased with this doctor ...

Dr clayton was my ob 2 years ago, and is my doctor this year again. He is a good doctor he did my c section and had no problems at all.

Dr. Clayton performed an emergency cesarian on me and it was a completely botched surgery! 18 months after the surgery my stomach was protruding out on one side and was very painful. I went to a general surgeon and through a CT scan he saw that my uterus was adhered to my abdominal wall. I had to go in for surgery to seperate them. It turns out, when he was closing me up after the cesarian, he sewed my uterus AND an ovary to my abdominal wall! So now I had to have a painful surgery to correct HIS negligence while closing me up. He is an arrogant man with absolutely no regard for anyone but himself! DO NOT HAVE THIS MAN DELIVER YOUR BABY!!!

I AM VERY PLEASED BY DR CLAYTONS OFFICE. FROM THE STAFF TO THE PROVIDERS EVERYONE IS EXCELLENT AND THEY ALL WORK VERY QUICKLY. APPOINTMENTS ARE VERY EASY TO SCEDULE NOT A LONG WAIT TIME.

Haven't been there in over a year but excellent service. Very efficient And professional . Staff very kind and caring.

Dr. Clayton is arrogant and rude. And cares more about his convenience. My daughter had to have him unfortunately. Out of the 3 doctors in the office, he is the one to deliver her baby. My daughter's water broke at 4:30 P.m. by 9:00 she was dilated to 9. By 9:30 she is dilated to 10, the doctor shows up, sits on his stool, tells her to push, which she is doing. And it's not going fast enough for him, so he tells the nurse to hook he up to pittossin. Which is supposed to speed up the contractions. Hellllooooo! She is already dilated to 10, she's pushing, there are no complications. My daughter did not want any pitossin whatsoever. So, I tell the nurse calmly, "No, she does not want any pitossin". Dr. Clayton shoves his chair away, because he is upset. And he lets my daughter rip farther then he needed to. He could have worked with the babies head and stretched her out a little at a time. But that would take work. He has a horrible bedside manner. And his follow up, when he checks how… she is healing, he is very rough. Not gentle.

Dr. Clayton and his staff are the best. They were wonderfully sweet my time with them I had two cesarean labor's and my recover was was easier than my first labor which was normal but with complications....He always made me laugh and he always respectful and knowledgeable.... Thanks to his Whole staff in office and hospital.

DO NOT COME HERE. I found out I was pregnant and I have an IUD. Thursday Dr Clayton was contacted by my referral management company and the earliest he could get me in was Saturday. I was scheduled for IUD removal, bloodwork, ultrasound, the works. A few hours before my appointment the office calls and says the Dr had an emergency and can't come in today, the soonest they could get me in is Tuesday. So I wait until Tuesday thinking it's no big deal, if it was urgent he would have taken care of me sooner. I pull up to the office and I am already nervous. It's in a rinky dink shopping center, there is no sign, just a piece of handwritten poster paper in the door. I get inside and the office is unkempt, dirty, just not how a medical facility should be, very unprofessional. They take me back to do vitals and the lady has no idea how to even read questions off a paper. I even asked her if it was her first day to relax her and start conversation, but no, she said she has been here for a… while. I finally get an exam room. Oh my gosh. It was literally like a closet. Dirty carpet floors, a tiny little medical bed/chair thing, a single table holding a mini laptop connected to a dirty nasty ultrasound wand on a tiny tray holding 2 more dirty nasty outdated tools that looked like he's been carrying them in his pocket since the 70s. I'm sitting on the patient bed looking into the back area where vitals, blood work, questionaires, urinalysis, etc is done. I can everyone see through the bent back blinds half covered in worn out tape that could no longer hold them in place. If I were to lean back and put my legs up for my exam, everyone out there would have a nice view of my vagina. Dr clayton comes in and asks why I'm here. I am surprised he's asking, but figure he might just be trying to break the ice. I tell him I'm pregnant with IUD and he goes "ughhh.... ok". He's very surpised by this information and starts flipping through my chart quietly sighing and huffing the whole time. Finally he says "I cannot do this here, we do not have the equipment, you need to go to the ER immediately and have it removed." Funny though because I go to the ER and even they cant remove it, that is a job for a specialist, specifically an OBGYN. Thanks for nothing. I waited an entire week to have my iud removed by a professional when it should have been removed the day I found out I was pregant. Now my pregnancy is even more compromised. If he couldn't do that procedure they should have let me known wHen the appointment was scheduled. I wouldn't even trust this guy to do a pap smear. Incompetent staff, office, equipment, everything. Go somewhere that can actually help you, not hurt you.
