Dr. Ken Shoji Honbo, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Honbo for years. He is my go to Doctor. He has diagnosed any issue I have correctly and when he has the time has spent extra time with me just "chewing the fat." I trust him and his staff! I am a USAF Vet also and he speaks "vet." The only issue I have is that I have asked him to make me younger and so far I am still the same age! LOL. See him. He is a good man!

Following up to a few of the comments below: Dr. Honbo is also a US Veteran himself. Also in one of the previous comments about "looking at the charts while speaking to you," this means he is thoroughly looking through that charts. Dr. Honbo is a busy man. These others who commented do not understand the medicine world. Lastly, if I were the person who commented about not respecting other veterans, I would be careful what you say without knowledge of others.

Dr. Honbo failed to diagnose a potentially fatal illness and it took months to recover. Dr. Honbo is dishonest incompetent, and untrustworthy. He denies his mistakes and has little empathy for patients under his care. Run as fast as you can from this "doctor".

I WOULD NEVER RETURN TO THIS SO-CALLED DOCTOR. HE IS RUDE. HE NEVER LOOKS AT YOU. I DON'T THINK HE LIKES OR RESPECTS AMERICANS. ESPECIALLY WHITE AMERICAN US ARMY VETERANS. IT IS SOMETHING I JUST PICKED UP ON. HE REFUSED TO LOOK AT ME ON 4 SEPERATE VISITS. HE REFUSED TO SIT WITH ME FOR 5 MINUTES TO DISCUSS A POOR BLOOD TEST. HE ASKED HIS NURSE TO GET RID OF ME .SHE WAS SHOCKED!! HIS STAFF FIGHT BETWEEN EACH OTHER. BECAUSE OF HIM PROBABLY!!! I AM THE NICEST GUY IN THEWORLD. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG. JUST A WHITE AMERICAN MAN. US ARMY VETERAN.YOU SHOULD RETIRE. YOU ARE TERRIBLE. GRADE: 'F'. I'D RATHER DIE THAN SEE THIS DOCTOR EVER AGAIN! IT WAS THAT BAD

Dr. Honbo misdiagnosed my condition. I have had problems getting my condition under control with the delay of accurate diagnosis. When I told him about what other doctors had found, he became defensive and lied to me. In my opinion, untrustworthy and less than honest. Not good for a physician.

The doctor is very nice and has good maners. The problem I have is it seems while he is talking to you he looks at the charts. It seems that he doesn't know much about you until he reads the chart. I would think he would read chart before you get to the office. Also, you have to ask him about all your tests. I think he should be aware and tell you the results-not good follow up. The staff does not seem very friendly. Rarely smiles
