Dr. Ken Douglas Weinstock, MD

Dr. Weinstock is very down to earth. I look forward to my visits, whereas I usually get stressed around doctors because they ask so many form like questions. It's great to have a doctor who sees my need and trusts me. He takes the time with me and listens, whereas normally with other doctors I feel rushed as soon as the doctor walks in and then I'm out very quickly. Couldn't ask for anyone better.

Dr. Weinstock really listens. He gets to the point of what is bothering you and comes up with pointed responses and constructive suggestions on how to deal with your life matters. He has a somewhat odd sense of humor but it doesn't impede his job as a really good psychiatrist. I definitely recommend Dr. Weinstock.

Dr Weinstock has been a good fit for my son who has had a difficult time Connecting to a psychiatrist in the past. The reason I can’t give a 5 star is I wish he was in Petaluma - easier reachable & I wish I would have more of a voice as to my sons behavior. Caretakers and parents that take care of their sick children should be part of the healing process regularly. As I understand the confidentiality issue of a Dr. And his patient, it can be vital to hear the voice / observation from a close person ( caregiver/ parent / family members & friends.

Excellent with children, has an in-depth understanding of emotional and behavioral problems and treatment paths.

This is possibly the most rude and condescending doctor I have ever met. He has no business working in the mental health field. I am currently writing letters in in hopes of having him removed from his position at our local health center.

I know him as his patient but also worked with him in the past. I know him to be a fierce advocate for his clients. He loves his work. He can be very down to earth and real in his communications. He is committed to service for the poor and under served populations. a likeable person but get ready for the REAL.

This doctor might be in the wrong specialty. I thought a psychiatrist was supossed to help his clients, but Dr. Ken is more about humiliating them. Besides not even trying to diagnose me properly, he was judgmental and cruel, and he even said that I should not even try reach a better position in life because I probably was just not capable to do so!!! I truly regret wasting my time and my money with a doctor that uses his clients to feel better about himself!!!
