Kendall Leet, CRNP

Kendall Leet, CRNP, is a nurse practitioner specializing in vascular neurology[JL1.1]. Ms. Leet guides people through recovery after ischemic stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA), intracerebral hemorrhage and other cerebrovascular events, working to reduce the risk of recurrent stroke. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Wilkes University."What I love most about my work is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives during some of their most vulnerable and important moments," Ms. Leet says. "Caring for individuals after a stroke allows me to be part of their recovery journey by helping them regain function, rebuild confidence and work toward preventing future events."Ms. Leet finds it especially rewarding to translate complex medical information into clear, actionable steps that help people take an active role in their health. She’s also proud of helping build and run the stroke clinic …for Geisinger’s Northeast Region. "It's rewarding to watch people regain confidence and independence over time and to know I played a part in that journey," she notes.Living in a rural area has shaped how she practices. "I know firsthand that access to specialized healthcare isn't always easy, and many people have to travel long distances to see the right provider," she says. "Being able to bring stroke and vascular neurology care closer to home is especially meaningful to me."
