Dr. Kendall Dewayne Ricklefs, DO

We saw Dr Ricklefs in a recent hospital visit. He had not even seen us and made a decision and told the nurses. When we expressed how can he make the decision when he hadn't even been in to see us, they were shocked. He is arrogant, has a chip on his shoulder, is very rude and condescending. He would not listen to our concerns, or anything we said. It was his way and not way. We actually felt bullied by him! And our rights were violated by him. I will NEVER allow this doctor to see any of my family members! We do not recommend anyone seeing this Doctor!

I had a recent hospital stay...When upon meeting him he had me diagnosed in 5 minutes with an attitude. I am a chronic pain patient and he would not allow me to use my regular meds that a pain clinic had prescribed for me...So when I awoke the next morning I was in extreme pain and my lovely nurse asked the doctor who was doing rounds to prescribe the meds and the new doctor had no problems giving me my meds...He drug tested me which of course came back clean. He sent up a Psych consult because like I said he had me diagnosed in 5 minutes of meeting me and not knowing my case. He obviously did not read in entirity my extensive medical history of illness and his attitude of knowing it all proved such. I DO NOT reccomend this doctor. This type of doctor will do more harm than good. Fairview has many docs that are good and he is not one of them...With how I was treated I will also lodge a complaint to his supperiors and go from there...
