Dr. Kendra Gabrielle Jones, MD

I came to Dr. Jones looking for treatment for my genital warts and an infected injury that resulted from previous treatment. All throughout the appointment, she was dismissive and a little rude. During our examination, Dr. Jones said I didn't have warts. I pointed out what I thought was a wart to her and she said it wasn't a wart (my new doctor confirmed it was!). I said it looked exactly like a wart I had before and she angrily/suddenly pulled my cover down from my legs and took off her gloves. She was done with the examination. I was shocked. She told me there was nothing she could do about my injury. I was holding back tears at that point because my injury was so painful and I felt like I was never going to get help. I apologized for tearing up and getting emotional and she responded by ripping into me, essentially telling me I should be more respectful, she went to medical school, and she knows better. I've never had a doctor so demeaning and uncaring as Dr. Jones.

When asking questions Dr Jones responses were dismissive with a little of sarcasm. Compared with my first visit doctor Jones was more patient and took time to review current symptoms and plan of care. But the next visit it was as if she had forgotten all she had instructed and recommended for care. She kept reading from her notes but it was as if she wrote half of what was verbally discussed from the last visit. This visit was hurtful more so because of her attitude. Bad day? maybe , but definitely unprofessional and enough to not to return as a patient.

Dr jones was a GREAT dr. I have no idea why anyone has anything bad to say about her on here. Sure she is a little forward but that's good for thick headed people like me who need to be told what to do. I had pre eclampsia and was put in the hospital and had my son at 36 weeks when he was born he had a nucel cord and two true knots he is a very lucky little boy he is here today and I thank dr jones every day for that because she paid extra attention to me. GREAT DR. Loved Her
