Dr. Kennedy Upadhyaya Ganti, MD

Dr Ganti was caring and professional when my family became his patients several years ago. He has since changed. He doesn’t return any messages through MyChart or messages left through the office. You’re forced to leave repeated messages, begging for help, then he’s rude and uncaring. I was so shocked and disgusted at the last message he left me after I tried reaching him for weeks. I even made an appointment to see him since he wasn’t returning my messages and he cancelled it and sent me a nasty message through MyChart. He has treated my family members rudely lately as well. None of us are “bad” patients. We don’t call too often, don’t come in for every little thing, etc. We are all leaving his practice and finding another physician.

I go to Lumberton Family Physicians and I was not impressed with Ganti's professionalism, at all. After waiting almost an hour, he walked in and 'plopped' himself on the chair; not the stool that the dr usually sits on, but the chair in the corner where another family member would sit if they were present. Not that there is anything wrong with the doctor sitting there, but when they just lean back, put their elbow on the counter & hand on cheek, then just stare at you to begin talking, I don't find it therapeutic. He did not seem to care about the reason why I was there, and acted as if he had more important things to do.But then again I had Alcera for 2 years, before she moved to a different practice. She was an amazing physician, so I guess I just had high expectations

I thought that Dr Ganti cared about me as a patient but after I no longer had insurance and just moved permanently I see that he doesn't. I need a refill on my thyroid medication and I ask for Dr Ganti for a refill. I need that help while I am soon going to get situated with a practise in my new home town.I was happy for many years having Dr Ganti following me. I can honestly say that he and most of the staff were very good and made me feel safe. I still trust them. But now I am feeling abandoned and very down. I have a lot of medical problems and it is hard finding a dr you trust. I am scared now.I don't think it will be refilled and now I am stressed out.
