Dr. Kenneth Jay Adelman, MD

During the last few months that I have been under the care of this Doctor my input and wishes regarding my treatment have been scoffed at and in many cases utterly ignored. He has "ran tests" on me by intentionally placing me in stressful situations in order-to see what my response would be. As my quality of life has declined and the side effects of my medications have compounded related issues, he has continued these same practices in a manner that is utterly disrespectful and dehumanizing. I do not trust him and I am desperately seeking a new provider. Please do not entrust your mental health to this man, we all deserve better than this.

My experience while seeing Dr. Adelman over the past six-months has been phenomenal. Most psychiatrists—that I’ve encountered over the past decade—will speak to you in a slightly demeaning, or arrogant, manner. Most psychiatrists will type on their computer while you’re talking and even remove eye-contact while muttering: “yup… uh-huh… yup”. That has not been the case with Dr. Adelman—he speaks to you with respect and sincerity. He has been a genuine pleasure to see.
