Dr. Altman gives very clear explanations/directions. He spends a good amount of time w the patient and never makes you feel like he's in a hurry.

Dr Altman talked about what he had done in the surgery and explained how the process of the biopsy went and checked vocal cords and he will keep a watch on everything

This doctor was the best ever.

Dr. Altman lived up to and far exceeded his recommendation from one of his associates […] This was the third time in which I've had my vocal cord issue examined (2x by a doctor in a different health network) and I must honestly say that Dr. Altman's process and procedure was completely comfortable, and barely noticeable, unlike what I was subjected to previously. He took a lot of time to show me and explain the actual video of my throat and my vocal cord's processes. Then he explained in detail the procedure he felt would be best for me. His experience in performing the procedure solidified my choice that, "He's the one I want to do this."

I had a a lot of questions for Dr. Altman even though this was the second appointment, I had after vocal surgery. He not only took the time to listen and answer my questions, but also ensured that I understood his responses as well.

Was sorry to see Dr. Altman depart NYC for Houston...although I am a former Texan who gets back often. What prompted me to write was the fact that Dr. Altman had zero tolerance for being falsely listed as a "network" provider on my United Healthcare insurance plan...and did what most doctors wouldn't bother doing to protect me as a patient. First, he emailed me back on a Sunday afternoon to affirm he wasn't on the plan, but was concerned about my problem and would still see me. He directed me to work with his office biller to hold United Healthcare accountable for honoring their bogus listing! His billing director set up a special "out of network" authorization to require United Healthcare to pay for my visit. The examination was thorough - with identification and treatment of my problem. Equally important, Dr. Altman went the extra mile to stand up to the insurance company--a rarity in the era of Obamacare, which, for so many patients, myself included,… has led to repeated denials of doctor access and medical care.

Dr altman looked out for me big time hes the most nicest doctors ive ever had i feel so comforter. Love you doct ur awson...

Dr. Altman is an incredible doctor and a caring individual with a courtesy staff. He gave my family hope and cured my father's illness which gave him the ability to eat normal again. Thank you Dr. Altman & staff... You have a GREAT TEAM!!
