After the shock of learning my diagnosis I was so appreciative of how Dr. Bark and his staff guided me through my surgery and recovery. The daily texts reminded me of how important all information was. I looked forward to them daily.

Dr. Bark and his entire team helped make the process of undergoing surgery far less stressful. Their thoughtful communication—both through text and in person—and their willingness to answer every question made all the difference. I also saw two of Dr. Bark’s colleagues during my hospital stay and received the same excellent level of care and communication from them.

Dr. Bark is a doctor that you will have extreme confidence in before during and after surgery. It is a good team of doctors that cover for one another while in the hospital. I’m entirely happy with Dr. Bark!

Dr. Bark is a friendly, professional and confident surgeon. The exact kind of doctor I wanted to repair the issues I had. His office is very professionally run, and kept me apprised of, and prepared for, each step throughout the process through texts messages with important information and links to follow so that I always knew what was happening or expected from me. Surgery is scary, but Dr. Bark has a protocol that puts the patient in the best possible physical and mental state for both before and after surgery. I am one week post-op today, and I am amazed at how well I am feeling. I highly recommend Dr. Bark for anyone needing colorectal surgery - you’ll be in great hands!

I had a colostomy done in a ER by another surgeon. That surgeon was very unprofessional and canceled my reversal at 7pm the day before my procedure and my cleaning was already done. I was referred to Dr. Bark by a couple of friends who are also his patients. Dr. Bark just completed my reversal surgery and I am now one week post op. It's still early but from what I can tell my surgery was successful and I am now just recovering. Dr. Bark came and visited me both days I was in the hospital. He listens to the patients concerns, is caring and compassionate and has answered any questions I have had. These surgeries carry enormous risks. I feel Dr. Bark did everything he could to help reduce these risks throughout the entire surgical process which is another reason why my surgery was a success. Im glad I was referred to Dr. Bark and would highly recommend him, his practice and the hospital. The entire experience was nothing short of amazing!! I have seen Dr Bark for diverticulitis and ended up needing a colectomy due to numerous flare-ups. The procedure went very well and the recovery is moving along nicely. The office began sending notifications reminding me of things to do or things coming up prior to the surgery. The notifications turned out to be very helpful. The Starr Class was also worth going to. Dr Bark answers all my questions and I’m very happy with him.

I had colon robotic laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Bark was incredible. He has a calm manner about him that reassured me throughout the entire process. The texts that I received about two weeks before surgery and several days after helped prepare me. They were reminders on what to do plus helped with the recovery process.
