Dr. Kenneth Robert Bergman, MD

Both of my girls had tonsillectomy with him and he did a great job explaining the procedure and the surgery went very well.

My son burst an eardrum and I brought to Dr Bergman. He recommended ear tubes because of the serious nature of the ear infect and the large number of similar infection in the past 6 months. The surgery went well, it was easy to get follow-up appointments, and he's very good with my child. I am extremely happy with the service I have receivedI left our last ENT in Reston because of horrible front office staff and have found his office staff is friendly and helpful. He is now my ENT as well.

Dr Bergman displays anti-Obama posters and stickers in his office. While I like him as a doctor I find it extremely offensive that he is displaying his political views in his office which is supposed to be a professional office. His posters are both offensive and politically charged. I respect his views but if he needs Democrats and liberals to be his patients he too needs to be respectful of their position and views as well.

My experience with doctor Bergman is similar to my experience with most doctors in NOVA, especially the so-called specialists. He took maybe 30 seconds to examine my problem and then proceeded to tell me I'd need actual surgery with anesthesia for an issue both my dentist and PCP told me should be a quick local anesthetic procedure at most. In addition, I couldn't schedule the procedure in his office, I had to call his assistant who was too busy to ever call back. WON'T ever go back. NOVA doctors suck.

I was very unimpressed with my entire experience. I need deviated septum surgery and although I have great doctors in NYC, I wanted the week long recovery to be with my family in the DC area. Dr. Berman Jr. was the 3rd ENT doctor I had seen and during my appointment, the 5 minutes that he gave me he agreed about most of my conditions found by the other ENTs, but disagreed and refused to do a crucial part of my surgery concerning my obstructed Columella only based on him not wanting the hassle of arguing with my insurance company. To add to it, he was very cold, quick and uninterested in me as a patient or my condition in general.

The Reston office staff is COMPLETELY unprofessional - loud talking about inappropriate subjects at the front desk, rude to one another, overly sarcastic to all. Response time and/or help assisting patients appears to be a burden to them and their personal conversations. Another office is so much more professional and welcoming. Dr spends a few moments with patients and talks 90 miles a minute. He spent more time talking about a personal relationship with one of the front desk girls, than talking to his patient. Very disorganized and guide the patients wrong on different aspects, then try to make up for it. Front receptionist (2) should be an embarassment to the office...I won't go back.

Excellent doctor. He is very direct and to the point, but not in a negative, condescending, or arrogant way. He cuts to the chase. His speed and ease with answering my concerns and questions was amazing. I left feeling very well taken care of, and that all of my concerns and questions were addressed. I'm happy to have found him. The staff also seems extremely professional, flexible, and helpful. For my sleep apnea and seasonal allergy issues, Dr. Bergman cannot be beat.
