Dr. Kenneth Alan Bock, MD

Unprepared for appointments. Spends the first half of every expensive visit reviewing your chart, Pushes his own line of supplements to pad his earnings. Has now added a nurse practitioner who is untrained in functional medicine to add another revenue stream to his practice. Not a bad doctor, just another one who has prioritized profits over patient satisfaction.

My son has a tic disorder, was a bit skeptic about the tourette syndrome diagnosis given by a neurologist, so decided to do further research. Found Dr. Bock through a coworker recommendation. After spending loads of money between the visitation and the blood work, every time my wife and I would go to him, he was unprepared, reading the report during our visit, instead of beforehand, wasting a good chunk of our limited, costly time. What's worst, he diagnosed our son with Lyme disease, which was very odd, given that the symptoms our son had were not compatible with Lyme disease and the lab results gave a low chance of being a Lyme disease ( the minimum one "+", with one "+" indicating the lowest chance possible, which could have been triggered by a virus or a myriad of other factors.) Unfortunately, our costly extensive lab work did not reveal anything about our son after being confirmed by a different doctor. SInce then, we've come to accept our son's condition. Do yourself a favor,… don't waste your time and money with Dr.Bock.

People come from all over the world to see Doctor Bach. He is worth it. He understands spectrum disorder’s, there causes and the other mini related medical issues associated with being on the spectrum including gut bacteria and gut healing diet.

Dr Bock is excellent at the first visit--gets you hooked, then it all deteriorates from there. Nurses have terrible attitudes and no sense of accountability, returning calls, explaining to you ( even as a new first time patient) what to do!! No follow up, can't keep track of what he recommends and does make mistakes on tests to conduct and what supplements- took up to 6 weeks to correct as he doens't follow up or monitor unless you have a $$$ appointment! , too many patients orj ust interested in the $$$. Supplement department makes many errors. Find a doctor who limits the number of patients and isn't at conferences every other week and actually checks in to see how his patients are!!

We could not be more grateful for Dr Bock, his patience and perseverance is paying off, when other doctors gave up on our son as being "hopelessly brain damaged."

Dr. Bock was my sons doctor for many years. He knows his stuff but if something goes wrong he doesn't call you back. You are basically on your own. I felt he was full of himself and wanted to prove a point. But wasn't attentive to the pt after the visit. I felt he was greedy I was given money from a charity to help pay for my son to see him. He wouldn't let me use it to by supplements from him., that he would order. When I asked him for the money back he only would give me half of it.After over 12 years of being a pt there that was how he treated me knowing I was a single parent trying to help my son.We never went back.

My kid had big issues. Dr. Bock did not promise me anything but t help me figure out what was going wrong. He will take an in depth look where few are willing to investigate.

Dr Bock is amazing. He takes a very detailed history. He practices extremely solid and grounded medicine. Then he is able to work upstream to figure out primary causes. The down side is that he is very busy and getting a question answered out of session can be time consuming. Overall, the best general practitioner I have ever seen! To get the most out of your visit, read his book first.

A very knowledgeable and competent doctor. Be prepared to climb lots of stairs.
