Dr. Kenneth David Candido, MD

I was seen yesterday by Dr. Candido, and I find him very competent, and compassionate, towards my life altering injury I sustained at my job, several months ago. We don't have enough pain specialist's, that actually care about there patient's life altering condition's, that will take there time to discuss, in full detail, how horrific it is to suffer from chronic debilitating circumstances. His competence was very invasive, and I do believe that he has your best interest at heart. I have been sick my entire adult life, and you need someone, who has this experience, to help you. Don't look at negative reviews, everybody has a different situation. Thank you for your wisdom, and dedication.

I wish I could give him a zero! He truly deserves zero..

Dr. Candido, as I’ve given away in my title, is simply the best. His care for my chronic pain has truly changed my life (and I pinky swear I’m not being hyperbolic). He and his staff are diligent losteners and he’s never let me leave his office without an implemented solution to my symptoms/pain issues. I’m lucky to have him as my pain management doctor.

Condescending, arrogant, narcissistic

I am not sure how this Dr sleeps at night.

After my doctors of 20 years all retired, I switched hospitals to IL Masonic. My new primary care doctor said I did not have to live with it and referred me to Dr. Candido. When I first saw him her could not touch my spine. Finally, at 92 years of age, I am relatively pain free. Dr. Candido is a miracle worker. He is kind, compassionate and a great bedside manner. Will be forever in his debt.

Dr Candido has been my pain dr off & on for over 12 yrs & has only recommended treatments that are only in my best interest. He has always made sure that not only I get every question answered but also the questions my husband had as well. We never left his office even once without feeling heard or without a clear plan of action to address every issue I had. It is abundantly clear that he spends a lot more time thinking about the best treatment plan for me than just the time spent with me during appointments. Would definitely HIGHLY recommend him to every family member & friends.

Dr. Candido is simply the Best! ever since he has left his pain management office in the hands of a new dr. Lipov. it has been a horrible experience. dr. lipov has no compasion i've witnessed othe patients like my self be turned away of pain injections when they are necessary . my employment requires me being on my feet 90% of my work day. and i wouldn't be there if i felt it wasn't necessary. atleast Dr. Candido spread the injections appropriately and i was able to function , currently i'm left struggling to make a living, in pain. Dr. Lipov said to me once besides other things. Dr. Lipov i quote too many injections make you kookoo. is this a way to speak to your patients. also very poor bedside manners he doesn't speek before he speaks and doesn't listen to the patients well i speak for myself. i'm not sure if Dr. Candido knows how this Dr. Is treating his patients. the following review is for Dr.. I've been a patient of Dr. Candido's for 7 months now. I spent a year in constant, severe pain before being referred into his care. At the time of my first appointment, I felt like if this didn't pan out, I was out of options. I honestly feel it was life-saving to end up in his care. The office is a clean & calm environment. All of the staff I have interacted with have been wonderful, from the reception desk to Dr. Candio himself. Most importantly, Dr. Candido was able to diagnose what a dozen other doctors had missed, has worked with me to restore my quality of life and learn how to manage & care for myself with chronic pain. He has been compassionate and listened closely to my concerns and questions, and enjoys teaching as well. I definitely recommend him to any patients struggling with chronic pain. He really raised the bar for me in terms of my own personal health, and what I will hope for in a future doctor should he ever retire! :)
