Dr. Kenneth Ross Deitch, DO

Brought my husband (2 strokes in last year and half) to Lankenau ER per our cardiac doctor direction (it was a Friday night), who advised he would alert them to our arrival. Dr Deitchs actually told my husband the pain he was feeling was in his head. Then the Dr called me aside and kept asking why my husband had stents put in, who told him he needed stents?! I kept asking Dr Dietch if he read my husbands charts and our Dr told us to come to ER. I asked this arrogant Dr to call our cardiac and his reply was (after he looked st his watch, it was 10pm)..” do you really think your doctor is going to answer a call this late on a Friday/ weekend night)?” Situation escalated and we left the ER. I should have known better than to go to Lankeneau, this is same hospital that misdiagnosed my fathers stroke in 1976 several times, my father died at 39. I will never return to the hospital again. The doctors seem to have a god complex.

Incredibly condescending, and not at all helpful. Didn't explain my father's diagnosis. Refused to ease my concerns about my father's health, and told me flat out that he didn't have any more time to spend with me because he had "other patients to take care of." We basically wasted an entire day in the Emergency Room without any resolution to the issue at hand. Additionally, my father was discharged with a diagnosis that wasn't even explained to us...I only found out his diagnosis when reading the discharge papers once I arrived home. I have never been treated so poorly by a physician before. Overall, I was shocked and appalled. Can't believe he is employed at Lankenau.
