Dr. Kenneth Wayne Dott, DO

I have gone to this doctor for 30 years and always trusted him with my health. After my last visit, when he took me off of 2 medications without telling me of the possible side effects of major withdrawal symptoms from 1 of the medications, he scares me almost to death! His abilities have eroded in a big way over the last 3 years. I will HAVE to say: DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!

The receptionist is extremely rude and disrespectful. I went in for a physical and had two forms for the doctor to fill out, one from insurance and one from school. I also wanted to ask him a question about my Hep B vaccination situation. The walls in that office are paper thin. I hear the receptionist bad talking me to a nurse outside the door, saying people always try to "sneak" in this paper work to have the doctor fill out and to get more out of the visit. I go out to confront her on what she was saying (I had heard her complaining about other patients before me as well) and she tries to tell me she wasn't talking bad about me. She said I should have given her the forms when I came in because she had to call the insurance because they changed the form and she had never seen it before. Both of my forms had to be filled out BY THE PHYSICIAN and related to having a physical done, why would I give them to the receptionist? It was also completely relevant to the physical I was paying to… have done, and I wasn't trying to "sneak" or take advantage of anyone. After an exchange she mockingly dismissed me back to the room to get blood work. I decided to leave instead. I feel bad leaving a negative review for the doctor, but as a representative of your practice her actions are unacceptable. She should not be allowed to disrespect patients the way she has. She is also a walking HIPPA violation risk. As someone going into the medical field, I find it disheartening that she could be the difference of someone that really needs help being put off by her demeanor and deciding to put off their visit. I certainty won't be returning to this place.

As a formal patient of Doctor Dott I see why so many negative reviews. I have been a patient of Doctor Dott from 2007 until the end of 2018 and have seen the medical office go from a satisfactory to a unsatisfactory status.To begin with for several years I have had to deal with the most Unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with. In one of the views the lady mention Bianca if this is the lady who is a nurse tech overweight,and greasy hair she's the one. For over three years, I have kept my mouth shut about her I do not like to see any one lose their job but, starting in 2018 I made a decision to talk to Doctor Dott about her. The problem is ever time I wanted to talk to him. I am assigned to their Vietnamese Nurse who is the Asian version of Bianca. Neither one will listen or care about your concerns. Since charging Doctors my blood pressure has drop 25 points and I have a new Doctor who listens and cares for his patient and the staff is great too. If I was Doctor Dott I would… hired new staff.

I have been going to Dr. Dott since moving to Irving in 2013. The doctor and his entire staff have always addressed my needs with professionalism and care. Can't rate them all high enough.

My husband, son, and I are patients of Dr. Dotts. My husband and I have seen him for almost 30 years. Today, I tried to get our sons labwork results (The office ordered it TWO months ago, and labcorp mislabeled it). Briana, the nurse(medical assistant) hung up on me 4 times today. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL. Then, I wanted to get my medical records, and she said that they are not seeing patients, and I can come back the next day. Briana, due to your lack of professionalism and refusal to make our minor sons medical records (Isn't this a HIPPA violation?) available to us, YOU have caused Dr. Dott to lose a family that has used this office for almost 30 years. Excellent physician listens and treats his patients w kindness

This isn't a real doctor in any sense of the word. Zero preventive care is offered. He wouldn't recognize a heart attack if you had no pulse. The staff is beyond rude, the short obease nurse is always looking for a new lesbian to hit on. Just don't bother to go here. You'll have nothing but negative interactions and receive harmful negligence from every provider here. Will the state board of medical doctors please intervene here?

If he just wouldn't lie it would be ok.

I dislike the 'get the client in, see him or her, and get the patient out, in 7 to 10 minutes' model. I've learned to bring questions to ask when/if I'm sick since I'm paying for answers. But sometimes I've felt the bottom line wasn't my health--just getting the patient in and out.

How many patients have to tell you that AMANDA verbally abuses them? Why won't you listen to even your PA, he sees and he knows. Dr. Dott, your practice is being destroyed by a nurse you should have fired years ago. Take an in house survey and find out the truth. Your nurses, including Leslie hate it when any patient comes in. They don't want to do any work. I, as a patients pay their salary yet we are treated like dirt. New people are treated so rudely just trying to ask about seeing the doctor. I have watched as they walk out, never to return. I'm done coming here too! Until Amanda is gone your not getting another dime from me. I'm sad that I ever trusted you with my health. No wonder I never get well after seeing you, I have to treated by a specialist or go to the ER the next day. Learn how to do a complete physical exam instead of just faking it with a stethoscope. Deal with your staff because those two women are destroying your reputation and they will be the downfall of your… life's work. What they have said and done to me, someone will do to your children one day when your gone. Good riddance.
